Yeah once your online its supposed to have a cool lobby and a tracking system for all your mates etc. Sounds ace! not got on yet though!

not sure about prologue data, but you can deffo transfer garage from PSP GT to this.

I did however save up millions and millions of credits in prologue and even have the F1 car, however sometimes its better to start from scratch...

I see what you mean about the installer, got home about 16.45, spent a few mins clearing space (only 40gb PS3) and then hit run, had to do the update which took 10mins bah, then started the install. (Said 20mins to go) Then I left the house to do a weeks shopping... Got back at 5.20 lol and 17mins to go - WTF :D

So, still waiting :cool:

Finally got a nice clean A500+ for my Samiga Project... fitting a Sam 440ep into an
amiga 500 case is gonna be fun and trying i guess as I am going to be doing it as
stealthily as possible.

This means that all external ports etc should be exactly as original.

This should give people a bit of a shock when they see what appears to be an
a500+ running os4.1.

Have now got to get a dead mobo that i was kindly offered in my samiga
thread and really crack on with this as i want it finished before xmas.

I got a A4000/040 with packaging and 2 Philips monitors etc for FREE! THAT is a nice find! Sadly, the ELKOS are leaking, little audio problem (really little, audio is OK, but a little noise can be noticed when no sound is played). Hope I can fix it, wish me the best.

And some days ago I got A1000 first version (piggybkac) in very nice state (no yellowing) for 10 euros. 2 external drives (1 i repaired, no mechanism inside) etc. Very cool!

I may not have a PS3 and GT5... but at least I can play Lotus II and Test Drive II the Duel in comfort for a change! :thumbsup:

Those adapters are awesome! Playing Amiga games with the PSx Pad really is a dream.

I haven't recieved it yet, but I won an auction on Evilbay, hadn't really counted on winning, but I did.
Af full GVP Combo 030 @ 40 MHz (EC) and FPU and 16MB.
I hope it survives the transit, if so I'll post a few photos in a thread that will contain everything I have gathered this year.

And yesterday I picked up an BSC Alfapower with a HDD, 3 A500's, 2 are Plus versions, so rev 8A, one not in the case of a plus, but it's 8A, 2 kickstart 3.1, 3 2.05 and 1 siwtch with 1.3/2.05, some disks, psu's, mice and joystick.
And that for the price of what 2 A500's plus do here :wooha::D

Couple of things I picked up

1) Racing seat for F1 2010 + GT5

2) A SwinSID88 - SID chip replacement

3) Got given an Saphire HD3870 X2 graphics card

Voodoo PC was going to offer cool gaming chairs like that one , before HP bought them out and killed them. The Voodoo (or DBox) motion chair had motors in them to move and STARTED at $14 grand Canadian. Hope you got yours for much less. :lol:

hasnt arrived yet but I'm all excited - I've got a philips MSX2 8250 on the way.

Its like this image below- rather than a single piece machine shaped like an ST, I got the one that looks like a VHS and a seperate keyboard, for its quirkiness (and size and sheer weight )

I've also splurged on a fancy megaflashrom card that has a konami SCC sound chip in. Should have another use in a ratty msx1 I got recently.

Just don't tell the mrs - at least til I tell her about her xmas present she's kindly got me :)

This one resemble very much like the Brazilian Gradiente Expert (see picture). I had one for some time a few months ago.

Interesting machine, indeed. Way too infected with M$ way of life to my taste, but indeed interesting!

Ah, spiffy! Mine's an Amiga-style "all in the keyboard" model, but I do like the look of those VCR-deck MSXes. Very quirky-interesting.

Oh, I wouldn't say that. MSX-DOS is just CP/M with a more DOS-like shell, so it's more along the lines of the Digital Research way of life ;) And having an OS that uses FAT12 natively instead of one of the many, many, many proprietary home-computer filesystems is extremely convenient.

My unit have a floppy interface cartridge and I hacked the floppy on the frontal aluminium fascia, installed a true parallel port (instead the nail bed it have) and VGA out port on the back (15kHz only...).

Sold it with 4 cartridges because I really don't have interest on the machine. Neat games, BTW.

Today I received a slight top-up for my stock of capacitors. This time I've gone for the "FR" range of Panasonic caps, these are the through-hole barrels in black.

Not pretty and gold like the FM series, but are a new series that's meant to last even longer! :)

These are going into my A600 tonight so that it's fully restored and maintained, ready for ACA630-30 action :D

Got this in the post this morning its a COX 630B genlock board for the BBC Master (also seen one fitted to a Model B). It replaces the inbuilt 16mhz clock with one synced to an external video source. End result is it does video overlays as anything black is transparent.

Also included is another set of wires with a 10 pin video camera type socket on the end. Almost certainly something the BBC itself uses, hence non standard and of little use to me.

I haven't fitted it yet, I'm moving house at the moment, so I'll install it once I get the BBC collection here.

It's kind of neat and weird to see the big "CBS" logo.
Here in North America, "CBS" is a TV station from the States and the boxes all said "Coleco" as that was the actual name of the company.
Just a aside: if you were a child of the 60's and '70, it was very hard not to have Coleco toys, they made everything from kids pools, to lawn darts. The Colecovision was their "swansong", after the video game crash, they put all of their money into the "Adam" Computer and when that bombed (very bad design- the power supply was in the printer, if the printer was dead, so was the computer) they put everything into Cabbage patch kids. The Cabbage Patch Kids really did kill the company.

The Cabbage Patch Kids were awesome... Uh. My bad, I was thinking of The Garbage Pail Kids. :twisted:

Today, I got a neat curio from one of the Amiga Club members. A Commodore Binder. It is made of a blue suede like material and the date card on the inside flap says 1983- 84. Possibly this was included in a "Back to School" package.
Inside it has 2 un used notebooks or "scribblers" as we call them here in Canada. also a large vinyl zipper pouch for pencils and what not. It has a bit of what looks like water damage, but nothing serious.
Because of the date, I am guessing that this was VIC 20 material, but the guy giving it to me could not remember a darn thing about it only that he had never used it and it was always kicking around. What do you think? possibly 10 grand on flea by for buy it now? Seriously, it is another cool CBM collectible I will probably end up using for Amiga documentation.

Amiga 500Plus, however i am not sure if the keyboard is from this model, possibly from an earlier version of Amiga 500.

Most certainly is probably from an older model, never knew a Plus model to have a red power LED which is part of the keyboard system.

Still, I prefer the red and green LED's personally. :p

The keyboard is indeed from a rev 3 (earliest) A500. You can not only tell by the RED power led, also by the C= key instead of the Left Amiga key.

Well, I have 4 8bit system in my collection and I prefer to use real floppy when I use them instead of hooking them up to my PC. I have all the necessary hardware to interface them with my pc and load the games and apps from there but it isn't the same. I love the sound of the 1541 banging its head or the audio beeping sound of the Atari when it access its drive.

I miss the old days when we were playing loading again... :p

And the good old cassette days - I wrote one game that once the computer was set off loading I would go and eat my tea and it would still be loading when I got back to it :Doh:

Now that I don't miss :)
