I got the Saturn here from Amibay before Christmas and the CV64/3D SD off here as well :cool:

The CD32 bundle was from Evil bay and it was a BIN I snapped up shortly after it was listed :ninja:

I've re-cased about a Dozen of the CD32 games so now they all look like new and its working a treat:

Picture through S-Video is crystal clean, Composhite is erm, shite :D

But so far, so good and even the CD's I wrote like Swiv/Silkworm pack, Alien Breed, etc they all work too :thumbsup:

I used to use one of these via SerNet and NetworkCD2 as a CD-ROM drive for my A1200! It was the slowest arrangement on the planet, but it let me get stuff off my CU Amiga and AF CDs :) I'll have been about 10 or 11 at the time.

Then the laser blew, and the CD32 was no more :(

Would be nice to have another one one day :)

There's something about the CD32 I just love, maybe it's the amazingly over the top intro everytime you switched it on. :p

We're not in february yet, and something can happen that will make the purchase of the mobo impossible. Also, this project, like my FrankenA2k project means that I'll be building a custom plexiglas case for it, so it may take a while.

OK, I see, I thought you got this last year LOL

Very good idea, also the same original case but transparent, would be really cool, but impossible to make :(

CD32 - great goes without saying.

However the Sega Saturn is a lovely console - lots of good arcade conversions on there, plenty of good 2D games too.

Thanks mate, was a fun day yesterday. Discovered some new games on the CD32 I had not played before so its all good and as you say the Saturn is a great machine, shame at the time it was overshadowed by the PS1 but now when you go back to those Arcade classics like Outrun, Sega Rally, Daytona you remember what a cracking little machine it is...

Got that on evilbay for cheap. All the boxes show some wear but they are acceptable for their age.

Received 200 brand new 1.44 floppies (20x box of 10 floppies).

I'm presently doing something I haven't done since the late 80's and early 90's... Spending the day formatting floppies. :D

I've setup an old PII laptop with Amiga Explorer. The Laptop is linked to my Media/emulation server via LAN. I have the ToSec pack on my server. I guess I'll be filling those floppies all weekend long :p

Finally! Got my (small) package in from AmigaKit. I got a CF drive for my second A600, screws (it seemed that all three of my A600 came in with only one or 2 screws) and a Super Buster 11 for my A3000T (with puller).
I wanted the A630 (2 of them) but funds won't allow that any time soon.
Slowly the A3000T will be coming alive.

As you may know, my A2000 and A4000 were lost in a move several years ago.
Today I corrected half of that problem and bought this nice A2000HD.
My original A2K was an OCS machine with KS1.3. The replacement is a rev 6.2 board, ECS, with KS2.04 and WB 2.1. Its in good condition. The interior and mobo are very clean. The battery was replaced with a coin type before any leakage occurred. Plastics are a little yellowed but not to bad. A little cleaning and some retrobright goodness and it will be good as new.

Well the Kanji is right on your shirt, but it's truly pronounced ha do ooh ken spelled in romanji as hadouken. Hadou meaning spirit or life energy, or Ki being stolen and used in the form of an attack. Ken basically means fist giving a rough translation of spirit wave fist or punch. Love the Gannon shirt though. I was playing the FDS version of Zelda 2 last night. It's way easier than the American version I find.

But anyway what I bought is of course the ACA630, which shipped today, so it should be here early next week. I am truly excited to see how it works. Even if it's slower than the Viper630 I'm replacing I very much enjoy supporting new products for our classic platforms.

I actually bought this when it first came out! Its original retail price was $100. I know I still have the pin, but I definitely don't have the original boxes. It's actually a pretty decent point and click adventure game too. :) Good find!

There's quite a few on Ebay, but mostly they are either incomplete, damaged or way too expensive. I found this one on Ebay as well, as a USA-only auction with a very low starting price. I convinced the seller to ship internationally and got it for a very decent price. :)

For it's time, the game was pretty awesome. The original cast voices, animations etc. still make it one of the best Star Trek games around if you ask me. I also bought the official strategy guide book of this game, so I have the complete package :)

I got a call from a friend of mine who's dad is a manager at a thrift store. He went up there over the weekend (out of town) to help him out. When he got there, he found a pile of old computer stuff so he called to ask me if I wanted it/what it was worth. I passed on the TRS-80 CoCo2 and joystick (already have one), and I passed on an original 1541 disk drive. But I didn't pass on the Amiga 1200 in box with 68030 accelerator and SCSI adapter (!). Oddly enough, no hard drive in this system but that can be fixed in a few minutes. And also, it only had 2MB on the 68030 expansion. It's a 72pin SIMM so that'll be easy to swap out.

Oh, I paid $20 for it. ;)

Well, some time Commodore seems to try to replace the Warrenty seal with other stickers. So it's on the C64 "Aldi" (sold in Germany mainly) the Serial number Sticker on both case sides. Well, on my model, don't have that much of that type, but it will have a reason why serial number is on the right on bot case sides.

It's the later metal version. First version was plastic case with C128 (normal) PCB. That's rare in some countries :thumbsup:

Well, I got today loads of ATARI stuff, 1040STf, MegaST, Mega STE, SH205 and some SM124. They seems very yellowed (I don't have saw them because a friend of mine picked that up, he will bring it to me next days). Well, a XEROX 860 (a very old, big tet editing system with DIN A4 monitor like that paper format) was there too. Because of that, I told my friend (he has spyce for such stuff and interest)... AND: I will get a PET2001 because of organizing him that system.

"Aldi C64" Is by far the ugliest C64 computer. It seems that Aldi got a hold of some leftover old brown breadbox cases, also discontinued C64G keyboards, Rev B boards with faulty user port, and assambled them to be sold for small price. They were not assambled in Commodore factory.

There is also no shealding inside, stickers with serial numbers on later units were not Commodore kind at all, but look like some leftover from another hardware.

I don't think this C128 shares the same story.
