Oh well got myself an rare WHITE 1531 (normally black). It's original for sure, even the "do not open" sticker is there) and the black label indicating it as 1531. Just costs 1,50 Euro from ebay due some other interested forgot to bid HAHA

Oh, the C64 Aldi looks cool to me, but you're false. C64 Aldi doesn't use C64G keyboard. It uses first version C64c keyboard, with the graphics symbol on the front. C64G has symbols on the upper side.

Why you think C64 Aldi is not produced at C= factory??? Where else :unsure: ? Only Commodores not produced at C= factory was DREAN computers, but they also bought ready C= hardware (or repaired them). They were in Argentinia.

Hi All

Went on a road trip today accross Ireland to pick up an A4000 I found for sale online.

Unit is in a great condition and stored away in its original box and had not been used or powerd up for a few years, monitor, printer, alot of orginal software and midi hardware included.

Checked the battery and just starting to fail but with no leaks so will replace it before it does damage. Give it a quick power upbefore I go to bed to make sure that all is ok, the unit powered up and booted to workbench so all seems well.

Heres an Art shot of the classic toast rack - for those at home that don't know why its call that - its simple... All those fins you see on the edge - is one giant heat sink! theres probably more surface area there than on my old 700Mhz Argon series Athlon!

Man, check out that Heat-sink! that's serious passive cooling!! I would like to point out I only had the unit turned on for about 30 minutes and the heat-sink was noticably warm!

Finally at the front I noticed a port for a Keypad! this means I must now find one! (or hack one LOL!)


So there my new Zx Spectrum - Not bad for quick C64, a couple of 4 packs and a surplus DVD player =D


With this it now makes my collection -

2x Spectrum+ (one needs new membrane)
1x Spectrum 128
3x Spectrum 128 +2 (one of these is for rkauer)
1x Spectrum +3

I need a Rubber key 48k and a +2 to complete the collection... soon ... yes... very sooon (/Zetr0 rubs hands together)

I had one of these as a kid, with MicroDrives and the works! I got one recently but it dosen't power on so at some point I need to get it looked at...

Anyway nice acquisition there buddy - have you got a DivIDE to use with it?

I do indeed have a DivIDE but that's on use with the Spectrum 128 +2

the +3 will have a 32 or 64MB hard-disk (once I build it) and I may look at getting a HcX Cryo-flux for it - build it all in and nice - this will be along side a supler slim-line 3.5" FDD

I have an RamTurbo that will go on this Spectrum 128 - I will then have to source an interface1 or 2 and then a MicroDrive for it as well!

the Kempston interface will go on the Spectrum +, and I plan on doing a Portable CD Player mod for loading games (I found an absolute classic retro-looking portable player too - I plan to Sinclair its looks =)

Finally I have a Spectrum +2 motherboard that will be in a custom Keyboard that I got from Jimbo on here - I have some extra mods planned for that I can promise!

I have a DivIDE hooked up to my +3 and recetnly receplaced the drive belt, it even reads some of my old Disks after all these years!

Must get that out again soon, its been in the cupboard a few months :-(

A500 half meg.

Just picked up a one previous owner A500 tonight at 10pm, after seeing it on my local advertiser. After a few emails and a bit of negotiating a deal was done :D Went out to collect and it turns out the guy was realy cool just needed the extra space and he has a A1200 to keep and use. He's looking to stick a CF hard-drive in it (which I recommended Amigakit). Also over the year he's had a few Amiga's from A500 to A4000 which he blow all the circets and sold for spares, he also had at one point a blizzard ppc 603 and was amzed at how much these were selling at today. So I told him about the site and hopfuly will be signing up soon and going to keep in touch:)

OK moving on A500 half meg with extras :thumbsup:

Hi All

Picked up a free A2000 today with loads of expansion cards, boxed software and hardware in mind condition.

Its been upgraded to 3.1 and 030 processsor. Also came with Commodore monitor and printer.

Due to its condition gave the lady €30 as could not take it for nothing.

Was out spending <snip>...<snip> today. Picked up: 3 x C64, 2xAmiga 500, Dragon 64, ZX Spectrum, ZX 81, commodore 128D, MicroBee. A Commodore Magic Speech module in box. Lots og Philips Videopac games, joysticks, C64 games 2 boexs of magazines and 2 boxes of ZX books.

Great find.

Found a Apple G3 powerpc 300 tower with keyboard, mouse and a cartload of software.
Slight prob....no OS installed, and i have no clue yet how to proceed from here.

I got this CDTV yesterday from my local advertiser, 45min drive but was worth it :D It had the seal intact, which I opened to have a look inside. So its a Rev 2.3, everything works that came with it. I have ordered a mouse from AmigaKit and I've managed to source a keyboard and disk drive, just waiting to arrive.

Nice addition to my collection :D

Was visiting an old lady yesterday and picked up a lot of nice things for almost NOTHING. The story behind was rather sad - her son (unfortunately dead now) has been sitting in wheel-chair all of his life, so he spend all his money and time on Amiga. She was about to throw it out, because a lot of people was interested in the stuff but they never showed up (she lives in the country). Her son was very gentle to his things, so all games are in super-mint/new condition (he only played copies of his original games, so the originals didn't got damaged..)

Got (to mention a few things) A500+ with GVP A590 and CM8833-II (mint condition) 26 almost new 1. releases of games. A lot of budget releases, productivity software (Dpaint III and IV and more) plus lots of books and more.

She was glad to give it away to someone who would take care of it, just like her son did.

Yes, march 1. was her deadline for throwing it out (she has been keeping it for many years after his death) - dates he has been writing on the disks are mostly in the period of 1987 - 1991

I bought an IDEFix Express today :thumbsup:

I got my Clowns and Jungle Hunt C64 Carts today.

I promptly cut out the rom on the clowns and mounted a 27c512 eprom that had the dead test cart image. Now I have a deadtest cart without the rom adapter so it will actually fit in a cart case.

I didn't even remember to bring the Jungle hunt home.
