Just picked up this sealed A600 in good condition with extras from my local advertiser :D the keys are a bit yellow but that's fine. One other thing I got in the post this morning was a cdtv joystick interface :D
Was very lucky today. Sometimes it pays off to wake up in the morning on Sunday :) . Boxed Sinclair QL , ZX81, ZX Spectrum 128k (perfect condition) and Oric 1 for very good car boot sale price :D. Bit dirty but can not complain.
New labels! :)

Are these the labels that i linked to on ebay and did the seller do a discount for you?
hi mate i got some of them off your ebay link got 60 but no discount
amigakit.com have them now also
Today I doubled my Amiga collection.
So to my harem I added this two wildcats. They need some TLC to get back in to shape. No battery leakage as I can see. The 3000 needs a new psu and it's a bit beaten up, and the 4000 needs a new drive cover. Time for new projects.

Lookie what a certain Cosmic Frog sent me :)

heh, the best busboard you can put in an A1200... my advice is to put 2 small heatsinks on the chips of the logic board , they get too hot :D
Thanks guys, sounds awesome reading up on it, sounds more simple than the Elbox solution and faster.
Shame it is not supported OS4.1 :(
FINALLY received my Open Pandora today! I'll be playing with this all evening. :D

hi SkydivinGirl that looks a nice bit ok kit
Yep! This should be a lot of fun. I'm especially interested in using it for DosBox. The system is a bit thicker than I thought it was going to be but the screen is nice and clear. The keyboard will take a little getting used to because the keys are rounded.
I can also play my Amiga and C64 games on this device. Can finally get some gaming done without having to sit in front of my computers.
Ciao!
Heather
Ahh, nice. It did seem like a bit of a brick when I saw a friend's, but for having a full-fledged computer in a handheld form factor, that's probably inevitable ;)
Congratulations, and enjoy!
@fitzsteve
Hi my friend :)
Whooo!!! My congratulations for your new purchase.... A like new G-Rex!!!!
This one is a real DMA board
Best wishes

replacement 1200 screws lol!
hey its new :D
I was able to start downloading software for it last night. I'm very impressed with the quality of the screen and it does seem to be pretty responsive. It's still an expensive toy, but it really is a full-blown computer with a full keyboard and touch screen. It's perfect for my retro gaming needs. :)
@Skellionz
Nice set of screws. :)
Heather
My first post in the "what did you get" post...
Finally, after envying all the people going to car-boot sales etc, I managed to get a "surprise load" picked up semi-locally.
I am sure everything has been shown before, but as I am just getting into the world of restoration and not just obtaining, I think I got myself a good load of work for the next few months.
Well, some pics in no particular order...

I might post a few posts when I start the actual work, at least I will be reading and reading even more to try and find all the tips and how-to / not-to's :D
Have a nice weekend guys!
Nice catch there Rolux, look forward to seeing your project posts
Make sure you check the A2000's for battery leakage ASAP and the same if you have an A500+
Steve.
That top A2000 looks pretty beaten up, but the one beneath it looks quite good.
Like the rest will say, remove batteries a.s.a.p ;)
The 500's seem to be rev 5/6, so no worries there, unless some battery on a memory expansion is leaking.
This won't take long, if you reserve an entire day for it, you will have them running before you go to sleep :D
It matters what is on the inside of them, if those A2000's a working good, but have no hdd or accellerator card, then they won't do much more than 500's.
After batteries and general cleaning, a good thing would be to clean the diskdrives including heads
Out shopping this afternoon as I've been planning a we covert operation to collect this minted A1200 which is as white as it looks with the seal intact, box is in great condition with all the inserts. I had seen this last week on my local advertiser :) So I have succeeded in bringing this one home under the radar :ninja:
I knew she was going to her mum's today and I always have a small slush fund, for these occasions. The other thing is I have my own retro room in the house, which all I get these days is "when you going to tidy up that room of yours". as she passes the door not coming in. Put the box in the loft. Job done :D
im very excited :-)
ordered and on the way to me :-)
Ti99/4a 32 / CF / printer card
and
A570 amiga cd rom addon
Just got a HUGE haul from freecycle. Not sure if I regret it or not since im really beyond my floorspace. I had to use the spare bed to get a shot in for the poor Speccy!
Still I got a:
BBC Micro with double disk drive and "Snot Vision" monitor (Green) - Works great as you can see. :)
Acorn A3000 with RGB monitor (CM8833 Mk.I I think) - Boots to Supervisor prompt so one assumes a new battery is in order, got an early Arc mouse with it too.
Amstrad PCW 9512 with a Daisy Wheel Printer - White screen?
ZX Spectrum with a smattering of goodies.
And a lot of misc. items that I was obliged to take including some 8in floppies, what looks like a mechanical calculations machine and a disk interface.
A real result though I think.
Well, the last couple of weekends, I've been car-booting.
I never normally find anything at these sort of things but have had the following bargains this weekend:
Sega Megadrive Mk1 with 2x controllers and 2x games (Indiana Jone and some crappy football game)
Sony Playstation (original, MkII) with 2x controllers, and what can only be described as a shed load of games
Heres a few photos of the Amiga 500+ I picked up yesterday :wooha:
I'm going to have some fun sorting this one out
On Friday, I traded one of my spare SNES consoles for a TuboGrafx-16. It's the first TG-16 console I've ever owned. I like it a lot so far. :)
Heather
found one locally...

Fun thing with buying lot of computer stuff without much note is what the heck you get with it. Beside whats in the pciture its power adapters and an Amiga drive.. And I went to lenghts to get one..
Beside the c64 it is of all things a set of cassette tapes with ... language course, audio tapes. Not a set, random bits from different courses.
i know not much to buy but well deserved support my personal key for whdload its amazing how much quicker the registerd version is to load
great 64 there mate moijk
I bought a Subway USB :)
Only to decide now which Amiga gets it
Also bought a SATA PCI Card for my OS4.1 setup and a job lot of mixed SATA/IDE/SCSI HDD's, all new and sealed!
I think I'm sorted for some time to come!
nice buys steve, was your subway new or second user
i have 2 1 in my tower with mediator and blizzy1260 and 1 in my desktop with blizzy1230 but pretty slow with 1230
oh yea i also got a 4way clockport adapter from dbase (not fitted yet only got 1 device to put on it)
I got it from eBay so its second user, I have to wait for it to arrive from USA but got a decent deal through £ vs $ and I used this seller before so I know he is good.
My list of projects to complete is growing by the day, I ganna have another try to get SCSI working when I get the new A4000 (CSMkII + SCSI) as I have some brand spanking new SCSI drives here.
USB will go in the A1200 with the Mediator/OS4.1 with with the SATA Raid Card and a couple of brand new SATA HDD's.
Busy times lol
yea i know what you mean
there is no enough time in the dayQuote:

and of course, OS4.1 Classic. Dual boot with OS3.9 as well.
Now, I also aquired ages ago the following, thanks to a ebay seller who gave them to me due to a simple error on a listing! Sorry, to long ago to remember who it was, but if you are reading this, then thanks again!
Myst (German and English ?)
Big Red Adventure
Software Tycoon
Earth 2140
Feeble Files
Wipout
Night Long

They also threw in a spare A4000 zorro daughter card as well!
