Congratulations Gaz!
Thanks all for your lovely comments!! I did suggest the names Paula or Denise (for the Retro) but we settled on Jessica :-) I am holding out for her to become a Commodore in the Royal Navy :-)
Gaz, I can tell you that the first year is the hardest - and it's not going to get any easier after that. :D
Congrats Gaz. Do not worry, babies can be yellow at the beginning but DO NOT USE retr0bright :).

A few mates over... with a tasty (and slightly spicey) Lamb, Tika Tandori !
AWESOME
Just wanna point out... every one died but me!!! and I would of won had it not been for that Pesky leprechaun - that smug son of a .... clover?
Anyway congrats to r0jaw's second (lucky 6) character of the day whom as luck of those little devils go'es... rolls that 6 and magically obtains the crown of command... yeah.... that hurt..... but I made him work for his win... oh yes.....
But thanks to Beaker71, r0jaws, Yorkie4,my Cousin B and special thanks to Bobpard for making a smashing evening and making me feel like 12 years old once again!!! =)
Cheers Guys!
Looks like countryside Monopoly. :)
LOL I suppose in a way it is....
although as a child I remember the family games of Manopoly were cut-throat of the house of Woo, I don't remember being turned into a toad though......
however this version of "Countryside Monopoly" aka... "The friendly game of the Cotswolds" it also has Adventurers, Avatars, and Avenging demons. This is swiftly folllowed with a doulbe helping of Ghosts, Ghasts, Ghouls and a Graveyard.
All that is ladend on with Dragon's, Doplargangers, Druids and Deadly Shades combined with a kings size plate of Chasms, Crevasses and coins of gold, yet only to confound you with teleportation, transmutation, temptation and toadation - the latter yorkie found out (tehehehe... don't mess with the witch! a roll of a ONE is garanteed to be a bad day!)
Break out the popcorn and the old VHS!
I was at the thrift store today and I couldn't resist picking up these 3 VHS for 50 Cents a piece! It even has Debra Winger as Wonder Girl! 2 episodes per tape though. Come on fight that Nazi gorilla Wonder Woman in "Wonder Woman vs Gargantua"
Who could NOT pay 50 Cents for them?
No Car Boot Sales for me this morning but I did take a drive to North West London and met up with a fellow Amigan, X-Ray who decided it was time to sell his Amiga collection.
So today I have added the following to my little collection ;)
First Up, Amiga A4000T - The Bezel is off till I have decided what Zorro Cards to use:

http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/m...e/IMG_1935.jpg
http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/m...e/IMG_1942.jpg
http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/m...e/IMG_1943.jpg
http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/m...e/IMG_1946.jpg
The A4000T has a CSPPC with 060 and 233mhz PPC, Zorro Cards installed are PicassoIV with Paloma and Concierto modules. 3 x DKB3128's (configured to give a total 512mb Ram) including the CSPPC's 128mb :ninja:

http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/m...e/IMG_1944.jpg
http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/m...e/IMG_1945.jpg
Other bits included in the collection are a CSMkII+ SCSI Kit to replace the one I sol to AndyLandy (cash raised for this purchase) and Subway USB.
Lots of bits and bobs such as NOS A2000 Keyboard, Cocolino Mouse adapter and boxes of spares, etc. Lots of goodies to go through!

http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/m...e/IMG_1937.jpg
The Subway will find its way to either my A600 or A1200 Desktop project as I have a Deneb to go inside the A4000T
A huge thank you to X-Ray for all the info and being so accomodating, I know you're sad to see this lot go, but it will be looked after
So glad tomorrow it is Bank Holiday Monday tomorrow so I can play with it all :coffee:
Steve.
that is just brilliant mate have fun , i know i would:bowdown:
@fitzsteve
nice one :)
Thanks guys, will start a project thread once I've setup a decent Workbench and the Deneb/Custom Rom is setup
Nice find Stevie! Lots of fun hours to be spent there
My finding is just a humble ROM adapter, but not actually an Amiga one, rather a Draco one. Which makes it all the more rare... :)
I had it for a few weeks, but took the opportunity to photograph it while looking around stuff for Cosmos' CGx problem.

At last!!! That was indeed a lot of respect my friend.
I hope the best of joy... although I'm sure it's gonna bring a lot of :)
There is a bug in the Zorro3 autoconfig: you can't install 3 memory cards in row as they will conflict with the next, so you must reduce the available amount of RAM on the first & second card.
One way to circumvent this problem is interleaving the cards: one DKB, then other card, then DKB again, other card and the last RAM card.:ninja:
Hi rkauer,
Indeed I was told this by the last user, but he also told of a patch written by a user on EAB 'MemCheck' this picks up any unalocated ZIII Ram.
In my setup with 5 Zorro Slots, top one with Video Slot I cannot use in your suggest config. However with the patch all Ram is allocated and working

??? The A4kT have two video slots.
Awesome stuff the 4t!
Hate to break the thread...
Got my $99 HP touchpad today, official unboxing photos tonight after work:shhh:
My tower is quite far away from me. Some games need the dvd to work online as some no-cd/dvd patches are picked up as cheats by certain online servers cheat detections. So to battle having to get up and walk over to PC just to insert an online game disc I got one of these:

Much easier, thanks dwayneh for the link. The one I was going to buy was just a dvd writer, but dwayneh found me a link for a dual layer writer for a couple of squid more. Even though it won't be used for burning, might as well have all the features.
inspired by eroom's rebuild thread, i found this nice little thing for my upcoming and bought it directly. hope i wont need the slot one day for something else.

Normally I don't buy A500 stuff.. but in this case I made an exeption
The Supra drive with SCSI interface in the side and HDD on an external box, external floppy drive and memory expansion.
looking forward to power on this thing ;-)
Got a MONSTER of a beast in today!
An A2000 in a BOMAC tower!
The tower is missing the front pannel :(
But there is a Video Toaster in it and a TBC.
It also has the Bigfoot power supply and some sort of Accelerator.
Unfortunately, I wont be able to get back at this for another month or so.
Just as heavy as a 3T and just as big LOL.
I don't think I will be selling this one off, as shipping would be just too darn much and it is so cool!
I've got two of these myself! I've only got one printer unit and it doesn't work. :( However, I have a modified AT power supply that works with the Adam unit itself. In fact, I got that one from another AmiBayer!
The Adams are neat systems but they really are HUGE!
@Tomse
Color me jealous!
Heather
Small find, me happy :)
Grtz, PymerOne.
I got a GP2X to replace my dead GP32:

Thanks Gouldin
Just realised I bought something so I'll put it on the thread.
I've never had one of these before... they're not really old enough to appear on my retro radar!
So here it is. Its a no frills USB drive, 2GB. Made by PNY, never heard of them before. Its come in very useful already for carrying PC files around in my pocket. As you do...
Sorry about the photo quality. I took it with my shake-o-vision camera (with built in out-of-focus guarantee). The USB is the thing on the left.
pc world sell alot of there stuffQuote:

Just 'won' myself an A3000. Haven't picked it up yet, but I'm excited enough to share it already ;). On board there's a 3640, a Retina and a DKB3128.

Oh, forgot to post - recently picked up a couple of other handhelds for my collection:
