Got a near mint Vic-20 locally inc slightly tatty-ish box, a c2n and joystick, a untouched dust cover and a few cart games. The power switch was pretty much stuck in the off position, in side the box I suspect it's not been used since almost new. Will give me a reason to try the 1541ultimate with the serial lead, get that beasty earning it's keep away from the C64 :)
Nice job though your going to have to take the price out since that is against AmiBay rules to state them.
Aaand she's finally up and running properly, all the major issues worked out and just a couple minor ones to figure out later, which means I can make this my daily-use computer now :)Quote:

Finally I received the x360Key's today. After a little "fight" with the new toys I'm...... "touched". Everything works from the HDD without probs :thumbsup:
The new Firmware 1.06 is a great update.

Came with Magnum 030 28mhz 8MB card, squirrel type SCSI and probably a 2X CDrom, and the 1084 ST monitor which crackles a bit when in use :/

Also received a new Lyra 2 adapter from AmigaKit. Speedy delivery as usual from those guys. ;)
The keyboard and adapter will be used with an Amiga CD32.
Thanx :) it is nice and white, compared to the monitor, also has a 1D4 motherboard and reasonably clean inside, the floppy sounds a little noisy so have a replacement on the way.. havent had the shield off yet to check the caps but have noticed it has a full set of pins on the clock port :)Quote:

A500 is a little dirty but works great. The TV works but sometimes needs a bang. I think it has a loose cable to the display.
If the TV remains working i'll use it for my Amigas.. No need for Scandoubler as works great with RGB to scart cable.

Just purchased a Dell U2711 monitor. Should be arriving in the next 2 days. Will take some pictures of it running once it arrives. :)
Got it at a bargain price, but still the latest A07 version, is new, sealed and with the official Dell 3 year 0 defective pixel replacement warranty.
Can't wait for this huge beast of a monitor to arrive. I had been toying with the 30" version but I've used one and they are just too big for me. The 27" version is a great compromise as the horizontal resolution is the same as the 30" and you just lose 160 pixels off the height, so you still have a huge 2560x1440 resolution display, identical to the Apple 27" Cinema display (and 27" iMac), but with even higher quality and no such restrictions for inputs or menu options.
The stand is also brilliant compared to anything cheaper, with an all metal construction that can be altered in all directions, and is very study.
The number of inputs and menu options was also a big clincher for me. It has nearly every input type you could ever think of, including 2 DVI ports, HDMI, VGA, Composite, Component, and even has a 4 port USB hub with a card reader built in.
I was also initially considering the U2411 24" monitor, as it has a similar array of inputs and features, but the upgrade from a 1980x1080 to a 1980x1200 resolution wasn't really worth the money, even though for graphics work it has the same colour accuracy and factory calibrated sRGB and Adobe RGB gamut modes. It is still a nice monitor for professional graphics use, as well as gaming.
As well as for PC use I'm going to be trying it out with my PS3 for some gaming and Blu-Ray viewing. Plus I will also be testing it with an Amiga to see if it has the same support for all of the Amiga video modes as the U2411 does. I think 27" will be overkill and too large for using an Amiga with all the time, but it will be cool if it does work the same way.

It definitely does exist because a friend has one and I've seen it running. I don't think it is in production any longer looking around, although some sellers still have them available on ebay. The U2410 is still being sold though and they are basically the same monitor with the same panel and inputs, plus full Amiga support.Quote:

The new U2412 is to be avoided though as it cuts a lot of costs by using a cheaper panel. Same resolution but LED backlit and not 10bit colour or any good for colour accurate work like the 2410 is. They have also reduced the range of ports to a single DVI, VGA and display port, and swapping the touch controls for buttons so they don't look nice. It is still a nice Gaming and general 24" monitor with a 1980x1200 resolution, and a cheaper price to reflect this, but just not good for anything more pro.
The U2410 is still for sale on the Brazilian subsidiary. :thumbsup: I'll certainly grab one for me!:nod:

I have two U2405 monitors. so I'm curious about this amiga compatibility. they do display well using svideo but the image is stretched to 16:10 and every time I change to 4:3 it resets when I do anything elseQuote:
