Laid out in A5 double sided, with all 646 pages printed in full colour on a professional wax offset printer, the manual is faithful to the original Binder-bound User guides in size, looks and feel, but is also modernised and updated where necessary to include the topics of todays hi-tech modern related add-ons.
Also included is an A3 copy of the BBC Model B Schematic diagram, and the Acorn Welcome disc, contating the suite of welcome programs, and disc utilities.

Documentation's thin on the ground, but once it's updated to the latest beta, and had the Minimig and Speccy cores added it's an awesome bit of kit.

My U2711 finally arrived in Friday and what an amazing monitor it is. I ended up playing the Beta of Star Wars: The Old Republic most of the time I was using it, and that ran very nicely in the native 2560x1440 resolution. Looked amazing. ;)Quote:

I did try a quick test with an A1200 connected to the VGA input and sadly I didn't get very good results. The image was visible, and in colour, but was very dark with more colour and slightly lighter at the time of the image, fading to quite dark down the rest of the screen. Any ideas why?
I also tried it via Composite and it produced a picture but of the usual not very good composite variety that I wouldn't want to use it all the time in.
The manual states that the DVI and HDMI ports do support 480i/576i, but that the VGA port doesn't and only officially supports from 30Hz upwards, so maybe this is an issue. :unsure: I will dig put some better quality cables when I get chance and try again.
I did consider trying to hook the Amiga up to one of the DVI inputs but assume these would be DVI-D and won't support analogue inputs, especially as the posts are missing the 4 analog pins from the connection. Not the end of the world if I can't get an Amiga input working properly as I do now have a GBS8220 so will be using that with a spare 17" monitor for the Amiga.

Used the same adapter in the past with a 16GB version of the same card. Works fantstically with SFS.
Best part...32GB card plus adapter costs about the same amount as a decent 16GB CF card by itself.
Nice. What is the adapter called? I've been thinking of trying SD cards instead of CF cards myself.

One thing to note: Some people have reported having issues with using SDHC cards with a different version of this adapter. The version I have has Black SMD capacitors on it. There is another version that some sellers sell that has Yellow SMD caps on it.

All in all, the adapter is good for up to about 4 to 6 or so megabytes a second write speed. Even then it might not have much of a hit in speed. The stock IDE port in an accelerated A1200 is only good for what, around 2 or 2.5 megs a sec?
All in all its a good deal if you have the right adapter. SDHC are just sooo cheap in comparison to CF cards.
Received a Lyra 2 kb adapter from Amigakit to connect an A2000 kb to it.
Collected this little lot a few days ago, I couldn't resist it considering the price.... :cool:
So far everything works, haven't tested the A1200T/CD32 yet though...

I just picked up my first ever cd32 but I guess if i say a price it will be classed as price driving, I will say you would be lucky to buy two cd32 pads for the price I paid for the whole lot so i'm well pleased with this :) Sold as untested as he had no games but it powers on fine just need to get a game downloaded for now to test it with, it looks in great condition though I dont see any problems coming (i hope) .
Update: forgot I had pinball prelude original and it all works great... got a good deal with this one :)
Received an A604 today, all that's left is an Indi ECS. :)

It's not completely new stuff, but the mega drive was from an old girlfriend who had it bought for her (Hence the lion king version) but she never used it, literally fired it up once when I was there. The mega cd was from a mate who bought 2 when they were being cleared out at toys r us back in the day for like £15.
And the 32x, well, that was just lucky on ebay :)
