Just finished setting up my newly acquired A1200 and Commodore 1084ST monitor last night, (the closest one in the picture).

I have got them serial linked for some great classic 2 player action. In fact, I can feel a co-operative 2 player Armageddon II session with my son coming on later today! :D

I have never had a pronter this big in my life. and i even mean ones with a built in scanner are smaller 2 lol..
BUT.. Its FAST!
I have been inviting people to come be amazed by how fast it prints
it has a 10 second approx start up sequence where it gets its self in order. then
WHOOSH the paper goes in and it comes straight out the other side..
No pausing at all.. AND it prints!:thumbsup:

The youngest baby in my collection. Looks pretty good actually, but needs some love anyways - Ebox tower is little yellowed, there is also broken one SIMM socket on Apollo acc. and Mediator fails very often or cards are not recognized :unsure:
Inside: #Amiga 1200, Apollo 68060/80Mhz + 32MB RAM accelerator, ATI Radeon graphics board, Realtek NIC, Spider-like USB 2.0 card and Fast ATA.

a wet cardboard box amongst books etc.
i looked inside as i could see a cable.
WOOT!!!! Never get Amiga stuff from my car boot but.........

1*external cdrom for squirrel with 2+50pin scsi plugs
1+amiga mouse
about 100 fdd disks all in good condition.

I, actually, did this all yesterday but w/o success. Either everything hangs when radeon driver starts or Amiga shows guru. Once per 10-20 reboots computer stands up, but i.e, without network card or usb controller... or Radeon. The most strange thing is that, when the seller had came to me with Amiga, all worked almost perfectly :blink:Quote:
I suggest you pull all PCI cards, clean the edge connector the the A1200 Motherboard and pass through with IPA, make sure you have a good strong PSU and reseat you boards.
Try with radeon in top slot :-)

Just got home from a craigslist purchase. Got an A3000D and a 1000! Also tons of extra hardware (1950 monitor, Max II Mac emulator, external Mac floppy, external Amiga floppy.). Also so much software I could go through it all. I was really after the 3000D, which was my second Amiga in my youth. Pictures will be posted this weekend.

Got a querty amstrad 664 with color ctm644, one french Amstrad CPC6128+ and waiting from here the 464+ to modify with mp3 player, memory upgrade and disk interface for 3.5". (the 664 ended up smashed in the drive section, but I have a spare upper case from non working unit. A pitty for such a machine but i'm going to repair it and modify keyboard membrane with tactile switches)

I'd actually be quite interested to see if one could run Workbench on it via Amithlon. Emulation would be slow though, so it would need to boot up straight in.. Amiga ARM computer.. now that has me thinking :cool:

Hooray! In one great post day, my A1200 with hard drive showed up, an Apollo accelerator card with 32mb on there, and... Wait for it... A zip stick. Three happy packages, one happy camper. Gonna have fun this weekend retr0brighting the keys.

I'm particularly chuffed with my latest find, a Gameboy Advance Micro. Spotted it as part of a lot on eBay and thought it was worth a punt. I bought a power cable for it and luckily it still works perfectly.
I just dig the tiny dimensions, it really is truly pocket sized, and the screen is crystal clear.
Gaming on it is very comfortable, as long as you don't have to use the shoulder buttons too often, or for extended periods. The other downside is that you cannot play original Gameboy games on it like you can with the clamshells.
Plus sides are, small pocket size, excellent screen, good battery life.
Downsides, not suitable for extended gameplay, no legacy support.
GBA Micro, possibly the most under appreciated handheld console of all time. Get yourself a M3 Micro SD flash cart and it rocks :)Quote:

My first post in this thread. Amazing bundle picked up 2 weeks ago from former Ami scener from London. Two totaly stuffed A4000's, SCSI tower, external cdrom, bag of CDs (Ha! Payback!) and small, helpfull devices (mouse,key adaptors etc) and mysterious box called SMD-100, looks like hardware Amiga mpeg player.
Both machines need attention, not booting after 100 miles motorway trip (tested and working on collection) so they'll need to be stripped down and cleaned. Also, retr0bright would help as they're both yellow as possible :lol:
Config1: Power Tower, GVP T-rexx II 060/50, SCSI, 128mb ram, CV64/3D with scandoubler, Ariadne, Toccata, Vlab Motion, Multiface, Emplant
Config 2: desktop, CS 060/50 + SCSI, 128Mb, Picasso IV + GVP Spectrum (DUAL SCREEN!), Ariadne, GVP HC8 ...

Haven't got it yet, haven't actually paid for it yet. Just won it. Not as cheap as I hoped it to be as there has to be always someone.. :mad: On the other hand, not overtly pricey either.
It was declared as just an ST but the extra ports revealed it. Sold as untested but I don't suspect anytihing critical.
