Decent ones still exist, just not on eBay really as its a race to the bottom on price.
We have some good ones we supply to customers at work. Overkill Infact with the quality.

Landed on a bunch of compact Macs at a recycling company. Ever since reading the Steve Jobs biography, I've hoped to have one of these. There was three Macintosh Classics, a Macintosh Plus and Macintosh SE/30. They were offered at a price that I thought that this was one of those opportunities that you don't pass, so I got one of the Classics. I know that the SE/30 has better specs but I liked the cleaner look of the Classic more.
It had a mouse and a keyboard but the keyboard was so filthy and it had keycaps missing so I left it there. Hope to find a better specimen later. Besides, didn't Steve mean that these things were supposed to be used with the mouse? :lol:
The screen is slightly burned but not disturbingly so. The other Classic had a better screen but the case was cracked and unfortunately the nicest looking Classic had the most burned screen. It is equipped with a hard drive. Don't know about the memory but I'd suspect it to have at least the 1 MB. Need to do a bit of cleaning with it. Maybe even open it up, once I figure out how to open it. :p

I picked up a G3 600 imac for less then a loaf of bread as it didnt have keyboard,mouse or software, at the A47 carboot.

I also found that they are easy chips to disable should you need to - I was playing Star Wars Battlefront II on-line the other day and of course the server rejected the Modbo chipped PS2 but after a quick reset and a start button hold down the chip was easily disabled and the game went straight on-line - still nearly 20 people playing on-oline, I was amazed... I have a nice little collection of (ahem) more rare PS2 games now also...

Xboxes arent a bad purchase if you get them cheap, they make good emulation machines and there appears to be a ton of hacks about for them.

- A 17" Viewsonic multisync monitor that was being given away for nothing on Craigslist (Not the best, but works better than the LCD I have at the minute)
Other bits and bobs strewn around the place like Amigakit's PCMCIA transfer kit, and other random things like SD-IDE adaptors and multiple other CF cards.
Now I just need to come up with somewhere to put it, since my office is chock a block, as you can see by the fact that this is all over the floor...

The only accelerator with a decently designed scsi adaptor, don't even need to open the case to fit it. Good find :thumbsup:

Gotta say though, the GVP kit always seems to be the best made and sturdy out of all the amiga manufacturers. Just stupid proprietory RAM spoils them a bit.
Yep, the ram can be a pain. Im quite lucky here mind as Im maxed out with ram on all the GVP hardware I own. I do love ther gear though, brilliant stuff!Quote:
