In the Amiga world, John, yes.
My A1200 with 4Mb in the trapdoor and a 4Mb SRAM card was all that I needed. It plays all the games I have used with it so far.
I can now get to play with OS 3.5 and OS 3.9 properly, as well as use the Ethernet III PCMCIA card that I have to finally get it on the 'Net.
i was joking dave :lol::lol:
Nothing "wow" amazing but got a very grubby VIC-20 with a cart and a basic manual. Along with some nice Gamecube games, a beautiful condition boxed Pong clone and a few other bits n bobs from the bootsale. Spent less then a purple colour note. ;)
Prolly not worth pictures...
I spoil you guys! Here-ya go...
Intrestingly enough I can fine NOTHING about the "Ajax" pong clone console at all anywhere. *shrugs*
Received the K604 fast RAM expansion from kipper2k. Thanks, mate!
Bought a Kingston SSD v200 128GB.
I really wanted to upgrade my PC (I usually do it every 4 years) but the price/performance ratio of the CPUs now is a bit insulting. I would have to pay 4x what I paid 5 years ago for a tiny speed improvement.
I figured the SSD would give me a bit of a speed boost until prices come down.
Going to install Linux Debian and then tweak everything to run as fast as possible

The TV is a 15" Mogen ML-1516TN which i think is a Sainsburys own brand, and it's actually better than i thought it would be for the price
I have scored a Compaq NC 6120 laptop for a bargain £x; all it needed was a complete software re-install of Windows XP Professional from a proper HP Compaq OEM disc.
I am updating Windows and the Anti-Virus now - it all works fine...
2Ghz CPU, 1GB memory, 60Gb hard drive - result!! :D
Just received my Turbo EverDrive from Stone Age Gamer! Should be a lot of fun!

Lots of boxed games, apps, books, CD's to go through and other goodies too!
Plus a dirty A1200 which has already been stripped and cleaned!
You're truly the godfather of picking up Amiga bits
I found this SHARP PC-1248 Pocket Computer down the back of a desk years ago (early 90's) when we cleared out a disused office. Didn't think it worked until I put some new batteries in it today.
