Nice, an MT-32! I have wanted one of them for some time as a cheaper alternative to the very thought after LAPC cards.
I thought I remembered reading that the LAPC sound quality was lacking, anyway... Of course, there's also the fact that a separate module can be used with any system that supports MIDI, not just PCs...which is why I've got a MIDI adapter for my A1200 on the way ;) I should see if I can find one for my MSX, as well...
I finely found two Amiga power sticks at a price I wanted to
pay on the other bay from two sellers..

These just came in today!

All i can say is that it will be long before i get my hands on soldering the parts. (higher priorities) ;)
And here's item #2
http://i298.photobucket.com/albums/m...ETOOTHMP3A.jpg
El-cheapo Bluetooth MP3 player/card reader for automotive use. Only time will tell if it's worth its measly cost... :)
I just got an AdIDE44 off of eBay.
To my surprise the 44-pin connector on this thing is not the standard mini IDC connector used for 2.5" hard drives, but rather the large 40-pin IDC with 4 extra pins added.
Anyone know where I can source a female connector to fit? Or better yet, a full cable?
ok well my new thing today is pretty substantial..
you can keep things in it. and its heavy duty, you can lock it up and supply it with power.
what i have today is ...
a new house.
collect the keys tomorrow.
the house im in now isnt going to dissapear though, my brother will be here.
so thats a big plus.
The house should have been available before the builders started work here, and they are currently a month over scedule "yep thats builders for you"
but me and the wife are pretty happy to be having a new house. no work needs to be done to it. and its only a few miles away, but incredibly even deeper in to the snowdonia national park which means that we get better views nicer walks but less shops and futher to travel to get to shops.
But over all its going to be better, its still in a culdesack like i am here, but its semi detatched. where as this one has houses on both sides.
I guess everything is workiong out for the best given that all our stuff is still in storage thanks to slow ass builders.
il probably add some pics tomorrw.
The best part is that it actualy has a garden for abigail to play in. and for barbeques in the summer "that 1 day of sun we get a year any way"
i have checked the broadband speeds available to the new house and its prety pathetic lol. "0.6Mb - 3mb"
but il be signing up to talk talk there abandoning virgin because honestly £6.50 a month for unlimited broad band and a phone line is cheaper than the £30 a month for just unlimited broad band from virgin. and if the max speed i could possibly get is 3Mbps then i dont see the need to pay the extra.
"i have to pay £114 up front line rental but that works out £60 cheaper in the long run so il just do that"
any way like i said im pretty happy about it.
sounds nice shambles would love to live some where like that
i found a picture online. but the house is just off to the left of where i put the arrow..
you can see 99.8% of the village in the pic.
across the road is a school.. and well thats about it no shops or a pub nothing lol.
the pick was obviously taken on one of the sunny days of the decade.. "we only get about 8 of them"
Nice ShambleS! I love the countryside view you will have. :)

Looks like a nice place to live... Peaceful places are always good :)
Today I received battery replacement for my notebook. The battery is M30-3S4400-C1S1 and it's going into my Aristo Slim 330 :) Old battery is dead now.
And about a week ago I received a Verbatim SSD 128GB hard disk for the same beast as battery. Now my notebook is almost fully expanded...
She's home! :)
My new A1200 arrived on Tuesday, but I didn't have time to play with her until now. Looks great, like new, especially the insides. Got it for a reasonable price on other bay. The disk was dead, but it was already replaced with a CF card. And I also got a PCMCIA CF card adapter, IDE CF card adapter and an external floppy drive this week. She just needs an accelerator and KS3.1 now! :)
Also, I only now noticed how browned my A500 is (see second picture) :)
Enjoy!
Just got a package from ebay it was a long lost friend from my childhood

Just been offered a CD32 with games for free from an ex-work colleague! :D Woohoo! I was looking for one anyway... excellent! It has been in a garage though so condition is unknown

Just got back from the car boot sale with this nice working boxed dreamcast complete with boxes VMU and 2 games. No controller but I'll get one on the other bay. All for the price of less than 20 cigarettes. :)
Just swapped one of my old workstations (775 pentium 4, geforce9600gt) for these beauties  SCORE !
Needs a good cleaning, and maybe a new drive and the f5, but all in all a nice trade.
My very first 1984s  yaay
From the other bay, local pickup and I was the only bidder :D
Only problem is, having been though it, no lever on the 1541, no video cables either.. And I seem to have 1 psu more then I need.
Still it was cheap(ish)

It's a Great day! Just picked up my new used Amiga 500 with monitor and printer :)
It' in badly need of retro bright and a good cleaning
http://www.amibay.com/picture.php?al...pictureid=1832
The monitor works great but the power button is a litle dodgy :)
I have no ida if the printer works
Not retro-stuff but finally I changed my veteran & lovely A700 and I've bought the SLT-A77V at very good price elsewhere. :)
It's comming now from UK, but unfortunately due to my work I cannot get it until November.... Work to my brother to test
For now, only a link http://www.sony.co.uk/product/dsi-body/slt-a77v
:coffee:
Thanks mate :)
Good cameras the NEX family, my wife has the "old" model NEX-5N and is really impressive..... But for me I love the "big size" ones (a gross fingers problem? sure.... -it's a joke, sorry- )
After working with my A700 for several years, with great results, I've decided to go up some levels with the A77V :)
Was pleasantly surprised by the mailman today. :)
Already in my miggy, works like a charm :)
Enjoy!
Look what I got today for my A1000:D thanks shaf:thumbsup:

I just installed a Picasso II in my A3000. The difference is like night and day.
New GVP HD8+
No fingertips on it and no Dust inside..
From Ebay for only <snip> euro... :D
Tonights Haul was the first of a few to come.
First we got an A2000 unit (thats 3 stock piled now)
it came with a Microbiotics VXL*30 with Ram 32 expansion, but my buddy Corey who was driving, pilfered that for his A500 system.
Then there was 4 big boxes of Amiga magazines and 3 racks of cover disks and assorted binders and manuals.
Then 3 boxes, one emplant card and 3 A2088 PC cards, and a wireless track ball.
heavy but cool load.
this along with Ultima IV & V wasted most of my summers back in the day

Amongst stuff not pictured, a load of Atari 2600 carts, 'NOS' Mariokart R/C and other bits and peices that go with the micros. :)
Oh, I like the 65XE kit!!
65XE is like a little Amiga 600 :D
Thanks guys, yeah it's a real nice setup though a shame the outer box is so tatty. Though it still holds stuff in place so I guess that's something. :)
Might end up shifting my other XE for cheap but I have yet to test it all.
