I see the problem, it got ø and æ in the wrong place.

A humble A4000D/030
Came with a keyboard, 5 big boxes of floppys and a Hydra AmigaNet v1.1.

They are great printers the older HP lasers. I recall when a HP laserjet III we had in work hit it's 1,000,000 page count. :o Yup, that is correct. I printed out a status page for proof but misplaced it a while ago.
Think it hit about 1.2m before it was finally replaced with a colour one. I have a 4050 still going strong myself.
A haul from the other bay!
Will be keeping the C16, VIC-20 and one of the breadbins. Most of the rest will be cleaned up and resold.
EDIT
Dropped on with this..
I need an Amiga keyboard to set this up and some tlc.
and learn all about the sound card and connecting the DB50XG.

Got some cash for Christmas/Birthday so i ordered myself these which arrived today. I will be honest and say that although i can use a basic soldering iron this is probably way beyond my current level but i live in hope that after some practice i will be able to use these new toys :) Got myself plenty of dead PC motherboards to practice on.
Soldering Station
Hot Air Station
nice scrappy
you all setup sardine
@sardine
you really need to get that apollo 1260 looked at,it looks like it got some serius battery damage around the 74f74.
Boxed breadbin to go with my 2 broken ones :D
http://i.ebayimg.com/t/Commodore-64-...iqQ~~60_12.JPG
Collecting tomorrow.
Wow scraps, you're all set for some serious soldering with that setup
@Sardine
As Roy says, that leakage is very serious. The problem you might have is after removing all the damage there might not be much left of the pads that chip is soldered to.
Fingers crossed it isn't as bad as it looks.
its rediculous how much easier things are with good quality tools.
id also fork out on a good selection of diferent size and pitched tips.
its so nice to have a tiny tip when you need it and be able to switch to a great big clod hopper the size of your thumb when you need that lol.
the hot air station may see more use than you expected. i know mine did
@sardine
having had another closer look at the pics,if i was you i would not power that machine up with the apollo in there.
going by the pics the leakage goes all the way to the mach 131,thats very bad mate.
im sorry i posted twice, its just i had to have another look:)
ye i know..
guy had it in his loft for 10 yrs...
ive not tried to power the tower..
i tried the 1260 once in my 1200, black screen, not done anything with it yet , ive bought lemon juice, ipa etc but i dont think i want to tackle it or try remove mach 131 as green on those pins also.
personal life atm throwing me curves my intention depending on what happens is to send it off to someone here for repair. i also want to send my 1240 which is working 100% but the battery on that also showing signs but no green yet.
Sneeker just dropped off two non-working C64 breadbins for free!
Hopefully I can make at least one of them working again!
And Im at home with my new C64 that is currently loading Bounder off tape..
First Time ive loaded anything off tape, and it will be the first time I've played bounder in 20+ years as I remember playing it on a mates spectrum, on a bloack and white tv, in the late 80's :o
APC 325...
Tis cool!
http://content.hwigroup.net/images/p...p_325va_fr.jpg
that sounds great. dunno when i can send them yet..
they are both apollo.
1240 works 100% battery starting too show signs of fuzz
ideally battery replaced if possibe.
1260 is dead, LOTS of green all over the card, if you can repair this your the man :).
ideally i would like if you can fix it a 2nd simm socket the same flat type so it will fit in an a1200. not sure if this is possible with a slim simm or not, i dont see why not if its the 90deg type.
thanks
kevin.
Finally bought myself one of those cheap Chinese Android tablets :). I decided to go for the 'Cube U9GT4' which has impressive specs for it's size and price range!
*Dual Core Rockhip RK3066 CPU @ 1.6GHz (Cortex A9).
*Quad Core Mali-400 GPU :o.
*1GB DDR3 RAM
*8GB internal memory (not much, but i'll be adding a 32GB card anyway ;)).
*AFFS screen as opposed to TN or IPS (it's supposed to be much better than TN and some say better than IPS).
*1024x600 resolution
*Wireless B/G/N
*Aluminium shell instead of cheap plastic :)
*Android 4.1 Jelly Bean
...Pretty impressive specs for a 7" tablet and the price is even more impressive!

Today arrived my new LCD 46" TV and new blu-ray home theatre.
Also the motor of my van blew.

Very nice Ivan. What goodies does your 4000 have?
@Ivan:
Woow! It's a dream A4000D setup! Congratulations!
Thanks. :)
Unfortunately, my mobo has sata2 ports only but i think that it'll be a great jump anyway. :)[/QUOTE]
well, the hike is impressive anyway. for my desktop i've just bought a PCIe sata-3 controller. Given the PCIe bus only does about 500, the 750 max will not be reached. BUT those numbers are usually a tad optimistic anyway so it'll not be really any slower.
The best thing is that my desktop have 4 bays, and with four 2TB drives and one 128-256GB SSD it'll be well packed. (the two first mirrors on the two last for backup, not in RAID but i can live with some hours of lost stuff if it is going to seize)
..And finally, after searching high and low for years. Shogun for the Amiga - complete with map etc.. I respect and love infocom games on any platform, and Shogun (the book and the series) is my all time favourite. Getting it finally AND getting the Amiga version is just.. just.. AWESOME! (insert happy tears here). I know it's only a game but I'm so happy..

A Model 1 Atari Lynx with games. I had a Game Gear growing up only saw a Lynx once with a best mate who had California Games.
Enjoying it so far. If you use the password MAND on Chips Challenge you get a fractal program as seen on my pic.
I bought new display for my Migga today. Now, while i'm playing the Cannon Fodder, i can aim soldiers for the eye!
My latest (technically first) retro-baby. Looking at some of the prices on eBay I was pretty chuffed to get this for around *SNIP*. Nice and clean and works fine. Actually it has a little more yellowing than my camera seems to want to show in this pic but I think my Canon is suffering from as much nostalgia as I am. I'll need to look into how to get accurate color balance sometime in the future.
Reason for buying? This was the initial computer I worked on when I got my first real job at a newspaper in early '88 and set me off on my eventual path to the professional creative arts, if you will. Actually we had Macintosh Pluses for the first month but they got upgraded pretty quickly to the SEs when the management realised that DTP was the way of the future :)
Ah, steamy memories of Quark Xpress, Illustrator, blocky typefaces, bezier curves and after hour shenanigans on Dark Castle and the good ol' Leather Goddesses courtesy of Infocom.
This is a dual floppy model which is fine apart from the fact I have one backup disk of System 5.5 and that's it. Expect a post in the Software Wanted, Apple forum very soon...
Nice find ! I also like the pac-man blanket/towel that it is on .. looks cool !
Nice catch steveng69!
I've edited your post to remove the price. There is simply no discussion about prices on AmiBay. The only exceptions are when you post something for sale, you must state a price. You can also set a price limit when you are requesting something. Please have a quick re-read of the rules when you get a moment.
Welcome to AmiBay! Keep sharing those finds.
Heather
Really nice catch on that mac. Looks really nice and in good condition:thumbsup:
I got an Xbox Debug Kit that arrived today. Having been playing with it tonight setting up XDK and extracting stuff from it, really enjoying the challenge of it all.
