The Sata 120gb hd I'm my late 2008 MacBook air 2,1 is on its last legs and I'm thinking of replacing it with a 128gb SSD.
Any tips where I can get one at a decent price ? They seem to go at around 130€ give or take which is pretty expensive. Must be sata and 1.8" specifically for the macbookair 2,1.
Any installation tips aside from ifixit .

Ok, SATA laptop drives (SSD) are on sale for not much US salad leaves online these days; forum rules prohibit listing other site and prices, but these are top notch companies; use 80 as a good number

The first Macbook air used a so called ZIF slot (slimmed down pata), the second and third (late 2008 and early 2009) uses a standard sata connector but they all use a 1.8" disk (not 2,5") up to 2010 when the mini sata stuff is introduced.
From what I understand mine needs the 1.8" sata one. It's a late 2008 and has the Samsung sata 120gb right now.
