Screws for Amiga 3000 !

I'm after the big screws for an Amiga 3000 case, with the beige washers, just to complete my 3000. Anyone got any spare? :D

Afaik, the side screws on the A3KD are stock everyday screws as used in pee cee cases thesedays. Even if not, you could certainly get something of the same thread & for the looks side of things, most hardware stores sell plastic caps to finish screw heads off for kitchen veneers. Push the screw through the collar, tighten & snap the beige cap on. You can even get screw cover which are quite chunky & have an attached lid to flip into the seated screw. Despite not being original, hows that for a choice of hacks? :D

No, I can appreciate what Chiark is looking for, these screws are custom A3000 fit, like these in my 3000T:

Indeed, I realise rocking horse poo is problably more plentiful, but worth asking all the same :D

the best idea is to go to tool shop , buy similar & shorten if necessary :D

@Tahoe: the serial port of the A3000T is loose, mate...

@Chiark: a matter of advice is better to find similar screws and washers and do a paint job on them.

Another hard mission will be find the exact matching colour to paint the buggers... :banghead:

I've finally set my 3k up to get rid of the whining hard drive and replace with CF, and I can now run it with the kds in bed :D . I've even finally fitted the 16MB simm fonie thing rather than Zips. Still no joy with the 3.1 ROMS though - they cause the system to be less reliable than an early 80s czech car ;)
