Looking to Sell or Trade A2000

Greetings:

I am looking for an A600 in excellent condition and I am willing to trade or sell my A2000.

The A2000 has both the SCSI adapter (GVP) and an accelerator. I have the 3.1 ROM for it, but currently it is not installed so it is at the 2.x level. I have the keyboard and mouse with it and it has I believe a 4GB hard drive inside. It has a single floppy installed and it is in very good to excellent condition. The case does have a few spots/scratches here and there, but the yellowing is almost non-existent.

I do have a picture which I am willing to send if someone is interested (note the monitor is not included mainly because it does not belong to me), and likewise I am not selling my CDRW unit either. The battery has been removed before I owned it and there has never been any damage from a leaking unit.

If I am to sell the unit outright, I am looking for $150 plus shipping. If it is to be traded for an A600 that has no upgrades, I would expect some cash plus the A600, if the A600 is upgraded with an accelerator and some other extras and has 3.1 ROM, then I would be willing to trade even where we each would pay for our respective shipping.

This is my first post in the community and I hope to be a great contributor and of course be able to enhance and trade for my vintage gear :-)

Welcome to AmiBay iainnitro! It's good to see more users on this side of the world. Do you happen to know what speed accelerator and how much memory are in your A2000? It would really help potential buyers to know. :) I have quite a few different Amiga models, but I have yet to get an A2000 myself.

I am very interested in the A2000 motherboard and Accelerator, (not to worried about the chassis / rom / gvp card or monitor lol as I have a couple here =)

But If your interested I can provide an upgraded A600

(2mb chip / 3.1 ROM / 2-4GB HDD / 4x bufferd IDE Fix / IDE Laptop CDROM)

I can also convert the A600 to NTSC if you wish =)

The accelerator card is a 030 and it is fully populated with RAM on the accelerator board.

@Zetr0: I am really very hesitant to part out a good working vintage Amiga. I have no need of a empty chassis lying around for sure :-) I would want to trade whole unit for whole unit.

@all: Later today I will look and see what the exact amount of memory is on the machine.

As promised:

The Chip Ram is 2 MB and the Fast RAM is 4 MB.

Potentially interested on the whole A2000 if deal with Zetro falls through

@desantii: That would be the GVP 030. Though system information states it is the Commodore 2630 card so maybe it is that the memory expansion card and scsi are GVP... I haven't really looked at the system in a while until I powered him up this morning :-)
