Mediator PCI 4000Di Busboard

I have an unused Mediator PCI 4000Di for sale or trade. Its the one for the A4000D still in its original case. It comes with a compatible network adapter all CDs etc. I would accept 140 pounds for the lot or I would consider swapping for one of (with possible cash either way to even out the deal): I am living in Tokyo but I can receive items via my UK address.

A1200 Mediator.
Zorro Ethernet Adapter.
Zorro USB

If you are considering a ZORRO based Ethernet, try & get the X-Surf if you can. There are a couple of Clockports on this card & then you could use a Clockport driven USB adapter such as the Subway <-- linky

This would leave you another precious ZORRO slot free. :thumbsup:

Another (better) way to achieve the same as the X-Surf is grabbing a Deneb!

USB 2.0, 6Mb of flashROM (there you can put an up-to-date kickstart with all options) and a clockport. Then use a cheap USB-to-Ethernet adaptor.

Interesting ! Do I need any special drivers (other than the USB and TCP/IP stack) ?

As I just bought a cheap A2000 I am also interested in a A2000 compatible:

Flicker Fixer+Scan Doubler

Rkauer, could you mention what usb chipset we need for networking with the DENEB. This "network" tip is mentioned all over amibay, but it is not mentioned what usb network solution is supported.
