I'm looking for an A2000-grey fascia for a 30mm Chinon floppy drive, needs to be in good condition. I'm also after an LED for this type of drive, as one of mine is missing it. I'm prepared to consider complete drives, either dead or alive, to salvage for parts.

Crikey! That's a few floppy disk drives. How much are you asking for them? I'm interested in perhaps two (to keep one as a spare) Also, could you advise on S&H to the UK?Quote:

@Jon: The ones in your PM look like they're designed to fit in a 5.25" drive bay and might be exactly what I need for my A4000 project (when I get round to it again) -- I'll speak to you some time in the new year if I may. :)

Andy. A word of warning.
All floppy drive Bezels mount in a different way. The Eject buttons can be in slightly different places & also of differing sizes.
It's why I put a choice of aerosol sprays there for you earlier. Tread carefully m8.

@Kin: Thanks for the heads-up. That said, I could still make use of a couple of these drives. :)
I have one taken from a dead 30mm drive from an A2000, but no eject button. The button can be the taken from a dead A500 unit.
Let me rummage on my pile of lost causes and I'll let you know.
Just reached a deal with Jon Hare to buy a couple of his drives.
