yes, same but support SDHC cards... From www:

"It is produced by the factories of Original R4 and Original Dstt.It is upgrade versions of R4 and Dstt with multi-media features which can support SDHC and run most games and homebrews. It has widely been owned by many NDS player users."

Don't suppose they are compatible with 3ds at all?

No these are clones and use the TT system. Make sure you get the version of wood for it or most games dont work with the offical os.

Wood is a replacement software for the r4 and some clones. You can get info from r4wood.com

Im only getting them for use on my friends kids DS's, so all Ill be doing is putting roms onto it. I guess I dont need to do anything with this wood software then?

I don't have a DS, but I'll buy one of these just in case one falls in my lap. Can you pm me payment details?

Taj, the r4 kernel is not great with some of the newer games so wood was made as a replacement and improves compatibility with some of the newer roms. It's easy enough buddy just download and extract to the micro sd and then add your roms as normal

also look on www.gbatemp.net there is a ton of info on the forums about it all
