GBA1000 New board production (V4)

For the Europeans eBay.de has the correct amber chip. Advertised for the 3000 and the GB board. Price is now up to just under 18 euros.

do we know which agnus is used exactly, I see there are some pin difference between 8372 + 8375.

I have the 390544-01 pal (a500+/a600 chip). wikipedia shows 4 pins different order from the 8372 (318069-03)..

some googling....

from what I can tell, the pin shifted 390544-01 wont work and you need the 8372AB (318069-03 chip)... ugh. back to the drawing board

do we know if he got to the point of running it? it will fit in the socket but the pins wont be correct...

I have found a place that supposedly has 2400+ Amber chips, i sent them an email... lets see what happens

We'll square up when i mail the boards off for those that still owe me... besides, i am thinking that the total of the boards would be around $42, so thats kinda nice... we'll see

Couldn't the plain and very-easy-to-get-hold-of 8372A be used as a temporary drop-in replacement (limiting access to 1 MB chip RAM, of course) as it's more or less pin compatible with the 8372(A)B ?

Hi,

Once the boards are all sorted i will work on a parts list group buy.

I would take on the agnus supply but I can be away for long periods at short notice so would hope someone else in Europe can do this.

Please add the tsop service for me also. I already payed via payal. If possible I would like to combine shipping to the Netherlands.
