2xFPU + Sockets for me too...
Thanks![COLOR="Silver"]
Hi kipper2k
i bought webmany board please see http://www.amibay.com/showthread.php?t=42788
i would also like to buy:
1 x mc6803050 cpu = $35
1 x CPU socket = $5
4 x chip mem = $5.92
16 x fast ram = $27.04
1 x zorro2 socket = $1
2 x video hybrid complete = $22
2x Video hybrid mobo 22 pin header = $2
1 x MSM6242B RTC clock = $4.50
1 x agnus = $9.50
1 x osc28.375 mhz = $4,75
1 x TSOP + fitting = $3.50
Im also interested in the FPU (68882) + socket + gals
I would also like small packet delivery to the UK
After you get confirmation from webmany, im happy to pay for the above components / delivery.
If you have run out of any stock its no problem and if you are going to buy more than i will wait if not please advise.
Are all the prices in CAD $ (except the fpu) or US$?
Kipper2k, you have a pm.
I'm interested in the complete list as well and also the fpu+socket+gal's.

I am interested in FPU and the socket too
The Gba1000 board under construction have a MC68030RC50B and i think that this and the board itself work at 50 Mhz, right?
With the XC68882RC33A must down the frequency of the board at 33 Mhz or run the FPU at 50 Mhz overclocked?
Reading the documentation, it says the that the fpu doesn't need it's own oscillator because it will use the one for the cpu. So i'm thinking it should be a 68881-2 50mhz.
and the 50mhz cpu needs a 100mhz oscillator.
Maybe someone should ask Mr Braun to clarify this? Because he said on eab that the CPU needs a 100mhz oscillator. This is what illuwatar writes on his site. "FPU: Motorola MC68881 or MC68882 at CPU-speed".
GB said the rev4 board, CPU runs at 1/2 osc speed. dont know what the 48mhz is for.

Hi
If the board rev4 halves the clock and we put an oscillator at 100 Mhz, the FPU at 33 Mhz is out of his operating range.
As CUF85 notes illuwatar writes on his site that the FPU: Motorola MC68881 or MC68882 run at CPU-speed.
If we run the CPU at 50 Mhz with an hypothetical XC68882RC33A FPU, i don't know if the FPU holds the speed (overclocked +50%).
the fpu will overclock to 50mhz but i cant remember what speed does overclock to 50mhz , maybe we need somebody who has done this on accelerators ,or we ned to buy 50mhz, but i do know the 68882 will overclock.
Hi kipper,
If possible I would like to buy the gal's and the fpu + socket, too.
Thank you.
I'd be interested in a FPU, Socket, oscillators and gal.. hoping that it all works at 50Mkz
Kipper2k: I am interested in fpu, socket and GALs too. Thanks.
I am interested in fpu, socket and GALs.
Kipper: interested in FPU, Socket and GALs
Kipper2k: I am interested in fpu, socket and GALs
@Kipper2k
I'm interest in Gals and oscillator.
@kipper2k
Interested in the gals too.
@kipper
Gals for me too!
Since I guess we are declaring interest in gals :D
Gals for me also please
Pls add me for a FPU socket and the GALS....
Thanks!
@kipper2k
sure of course for me too..gals, pals, sockets, extenders whatever you can get for us that I haven't already paid for
interested in gals osc, sockets? not the fpu though i dont need it really.
whens the eta on the boards im excited.
lol cool i cant wait but ill have too , its going to be fun. i hope mine works first time lol.
@Kipper - interested in a FPU, Socket, oscillators and gal's and as always anything else you manage to find ;P .

Opps for got to add
Is there a socket for the oscillator too ? And did anybody manage to find out what speed we needed ?
Anybody had any thoughts on case's, i get a feeling A1000 one will become scarce .... much as i'd love one. If I can't find one maybe something like the minimig would look cool .... not sure how the zoro would work though

Not sure if this has been asked before but is there a clock port on our boards or can we add one?
will there be a second list of components you may purchase ?
fpu ,gal ,oscillator,socet and more
anybody working on a power supply connector , i got a 500 power socket just wondered if i can connect that to the gba then use a power brick off the 500 , anyone got any ideas? like what type of connector for the board? 1 that can be wired to the socket easy and looks good job.
I think to use a molex 3.96mm (.156") Pitch KK® Solid Header 41791 with 7 pin, if it is not equal to the original is close enough.
An original A1000 board needs a tick signal to work correctly, in the gba1000 board i don't known but has the same connector of A1000 board..
The A2000, A3000 and A4000 can do without a tick signal moving a jumper, A1000 not as far as I know.
If Gba1000 board needs a tick signal, the A500/A6000/A1200 PSU is useless without a signal tick generator that would also with AT/ATX PSU adaptation.
Aminet has some project to do a signat tick generator.
so thats going to make it a pig then , damn so what your saying is no power supply has a tick signal?
so where all going to be stuck then until we have worked this out bummer.
In my opinion, this motherboard is shaped like an a1000 but it's not one. So i assume that an ordinary psu will work. I haven't read anything about a tick signal in the docs. But i can be wrong too.
The schematics available here show support for the PSU tick signal (page 5).
They also show (page 3) that vsync can be used instead (jumper selection).
So either option is available, just like in the A2000.
These are older schematics but I doubt the V4 design would ditch that convenience.
So either can be used. Good news.
I just read the German manual and the schematics for the rev.4 board and the tick signal can be used from either the psu or from the v-sync.

hi george told me you just set the jumper ,x16 so you dont need tick clock so now can use anything really to power it yipe.
I've seen various references to some German language detailed pdf about the board but can't seem to be able to find it. Could someone send me a link please?
Here is the info on the Video Hybrid module i made, People who are buying this as a kit will definately need this.
here's the links to the placement
