Orange cells indicate ready for mailing tomorrow ... After that, there are 4 more orders paid for that should be mailed Thursday. I have to make a few more Video Hybrids (parts came in today) and a few more TSOPs to be soldered.
Oppps forgot to update, package arrived Sat all good :D
Thanks Kipper
Only thing is it scares me looking at the work needed now
Cryton
Package received, all ok.
i orderd the gals who can program them for my ?
Gr.
I've got an epmaster lv48, should do said GALs. Anyone wanting it done in Finland (and why not elswhere) can have eproms and gals programmed by me.. local post ain't cheapest, so international shipment might not be feasible.
Now, the lsi1024 worries me.
I can program all the chips, including the LSI1024.
Hese, pm sent..
the ls1024 can be prgrammed in place once the system is up and running, its the other ones that require the pre-programming
Kipper2k, thank you for this information (amongst everything else).
That was the last obstacle on building the board. Now just have to buy some parts :D
the tsop flash can be programmed at run time. I dont think the LS1024 can. the JED file is in the archive, so that tells me it needs flashing with a tool
I was told by someone on A1k.org that it can be done so i am relaying nfo i got. Just because the jed file is in the archive doesnt mean that it needs to be per-programmed ?

All paid shipping orders except for 1 are all mailed or will be mailed today
I'm on orange now! :arms
Probably found the GALs, the LSI1024 (from a German shop, let's see if they ever invoice & ship); got line buffers & Fieldmem for flicker fixer & SuperDenise from the other bay, and donor A500 for CIAs/Gary/Paula/connectors locally from here. Plenty of 4 MBit EPROMs already at home from A3000 project.
Missing Amber, all small-stuff, discr logic and FPU. Probably will search for the flash rom, too.
Anyone know where the contents of the 27256 can be located at? Didn't find that in Braun's archive files.
At the Braun's homepage you can find a version compatible for 68060 but i think that is well also for 68030.
http://www.gb97816.homepage.t-online.de/eprom_atbus.htm
Probably the normal rom 6.10 for at-bus2008 ide or oktapussy can work well.
Thanks, Massimo. It looks like Oktagon ROM is also available at Aminet.
With the risk of sounding like a greedy *******; has anyone any considerations for a possible group build/PCB run of the 32M RAM expansion board for the GBA1000?
Id be more interested in that awesome looking thylacine reworked USB board that goes into the front expansion slot :) hmm might try and build one of them myself and see how it goes.

last paid for order will be mailed 31st May.... Lots of people still need to pay for mailing costs

Isn't that open source now ?
Ah.. that's too bad, and probably relates to some of the community ****ing him off royally. :(
However, with the current pricing of SRAM, I'm sure we could come off some sort of non-autoconfiguring SRAM based board sandwiched the same way between the CPU and it's Georg Braun board, also growing it a bit larger than the 32 MB? Did this in 1992 for my original A1000, on smaller scale of course.
All paid for orders have been mailed out... Lots of people still need to pay for mailing costs

cheers mike.
oops just seen it durrrr
so the mobo is $59 posted tracked yes?
The next step is a global order for GAL, LSI1024, XTAL and spécials connectors ?
Thanks Kipper2k for your work for the boards and components !
kipper pm for 1x Video Hybrid Kit
Is it?
If so count me in
I still need to buy 2 agnus chips, but no one seems to want to answer any my queries whether I can rip them out of existing Amiga models or not... we possibly need a new thread for any future group buying? Can always link back to this one for reference
I'm quite happy to carry on and obtain anything madly sort after since I'm not starting to build my 2 x GBA1000s until the end of the year
My board arrived this morning. Big thanks to Kipper2k !
My board arrived today. Many thanks for everything you done and all your hard work kipper2k.
Cheers Nick
My boards arrived safe today - thank you.
My board arrived today
Thank you, thank you and thank you..
Kipper2k, THANK YOU.
My board arrived today, home-carried by the postal office.
Everything's in good order, and now need to hunt down the passive stuff
EDIT: compiling one on the Mouser site. Should be completed on Monday as a shared project.
kipper2k, could you please how much I should send you for shipping to Turkey
https://mouser.com/ProjectManager/Pr...sID=9174CFD8CC
That includes quite some parts, excluding, namely:
- 44Pin IDE connector
- All Amiga custom chips, CPU, FPU, LSI1024 (and their sockets), GALs
- All in Kipper2K's parts order list
- Connectors removeable from a donor machine (Phono jacks, Sub-D connectors)
- Two audio transistors. There weren't typical matches on-line either. Going to steal them from a donor
- Ne564 PLL chip for flicker fixer, not available.
- Li-Ion battery, probably not shippable anyways
- Trimmer capacitors for RTC and flicker fixer, not available at those scales.
- RJ10 keyboard connector, not available
- 1 Ohm SMD resistor R24, not available.
- LED and FDD/HDD power connectors; couldn't make sure which ones to use, will "borrow from donor machines" or just use plain 0.1 inch header strip.
- Kickstart ROM - I have plenty of the 27400 variety at home, which fits the ROM socket nicely.
- FlickerFixer FRAMs and Frame Memory.
Others than that, I just ordered my set, and will let you know how everything will go in places.
I tried to choose reasonable priced parts, but some capacitors might be cheaper. Please PM me if you find better alternatives, or the missing parts there!
I did find the FlickerFixer RAM parts, LSI1024, GALs, Flash, SuperDenise and PLL chip at Ebay. There are plenty of Chinese offers there for these - which is nice, as all this is long obsolete.
Now only really missing one Amber and 68882+socket.
EDIT: Mouser sent me about 98% of my order list, and about 67% of all "small stuff" has been installed now. There's been no surprises; all parts so far have fitted.
os62 - Thanks for posting this information

i cannot send feedback to kipper2k for gba1000 cause this thread is started from pjm
While waiting for the small stuff, there's not much to do, but start attaching components.
TSOP flash, all Chip RAM and half of Fast RAM soldered in. Just a Weller soldering station, very thin solder wire and 5x magnifying glass from clash ohlson..
i need the smal smd part , who can help me with that ? please
and some connectors
It'd certainly help, if you'd be able to tell the part numbers.
