Little question into the round.
I have as example a GB A1000 Rev.1 and a GB A1000 Rev.5 and a pheonix.
Now are comming up new round 80-90 GB A1000 users.

Is it possible to do a remake of the A1000 Case? All the GB A1000 needs a new case...

it would be nice if someone could design a case for the A1000. I'm sure we could get a decent price to get them made professionally or even use a 3d printer and design a case that can be built in sections so as to fit in the allowed build size.

I was asked about the shipping and how i decide which ones i mail first.... The answer is going to be based on who paid first and people who do multiple person orders. for example if the 8th person on the list is also receiving other peoples boards as well as their own then those people will have theirs mailed in the bundle as well. I won't procrastinate on mailing them, i'll try to get them out ASAP.

One more thing... the list on my link indicates the order of when a person actually paid for their boards. (First paid order starting from the top)

Ok, one more thing :)... for those people that would like the TSOP soldered onto their board. the price of the TSOP and the soldering of the chip will be $3.50. You can pay me when the boards are ready to be mailed.

I will try to remember to pay up today, spent some days in the hospital this week so didn't get around to it. Wanted to know if I could add a 2nd board to my order so I end up paying less in shipping than the Limeys :D

Initially expressed my interest on amiga.org so not sure if I have to post it there or not :huh:

There is only the one component that is considered tough. Anyone can solder, its like any trade, you must have the correct tools. the hardest component on that board (the 48 pin TSOP) can be soldered in less than 30 seconds when you know the tricks. there are lots of good tutorials on how to solder, but as i said, ya gotta have the tools

kipper can I pay you know to solder the TSOP on my MB since I noticed on the paid list some people have this option.

We are at 116 boards which is about 30 short of those requested. It will soon be time to close the order and get it processed. If you are still interested please pay ASAP and we will start the ball rolling. Fabrication time has been quoted as 17 business days, shipping to me will be 6 days, and then i will get them mailed off ASAP (please remember i have a job and my boss likes to see me doing it :).

Once the boards have been mailed i will round up the prices of the big ticket items that i can find, CPU/ IC's etc and begin a list for that too. I can get pretty well most things, i also have made the a500 video hybrid board (need to test it) so that will help out a lot of people hopefully

edit... forgot to add myself to the list... so that will be 3 more on top of what the list says. :)

I'm keen for my board to be as pre-assembled as possible, happy to pay whatever dues. I'm in no rush and understand you have other commitments.

However I can see me taking it round to Zetr0's place one Curry night :lol:

If you don't have the cash until the weekend then PM me before the order closing time and i will order one for you as long as you promise not to leave me hanging.

The weight of the board is 360 grams... How do i know? :), i bought a few samples (just received today) so i could see the boards before i put in the big order. All looks good :)
