Nova’s Apollo 1260/80Mhz, 32MB RAM

Upgraded by Stan-the-man from a humble 1240.

This is an awesome A1200 accelerator, fits in the standard desktop case without raising it. Very stable, soldered on MACH chips, new battery, fitted with 32MB 50ns SIM (this card only has a single SIM socket and will not take any more memory).

Asking for 360 EUR (PayPal) + international shipping charges.

I really love this card and I don’t really want to sell it but also hate it when people horde hardware (I’ve just got myself a Blizzard 1260 :ninja:).

Have watched the youtube clips hundreds of times drooling an amazing card (big fan!). A piece of Amiga history perhaps?

A shame I can't stretch my budget, but whoever ends up getting this card will be getting a legend of a card.

Yes it is a great card, only had it a few months but it's been awesome (I only had 030's before).

I hope you don't mind me asking, @Nova, What made you want to get a Blizzard over your existing accelerator? is it the additional RAM availability?

No I don't mind.

Originally I was just after 128 MB ram because I was working on porting a web browser to AGA at the time and I knew that 32 MB wouldn't cut it. My new Quake 2 port also needs way more than 32MB and of course some of the later 060 demos also need 64MB.

I'm very happy with the Blizzard because it is slightly faster than the Apollo when I use it with my ports.

Like to put a tentative interest in on this. As I'm very tempted and don't want to loose out because I'm crap at making decisions and I usually do miss out because I hesitate.....
