Amiga “Royal” RGB Stereo Cable (Gold-Plated DB23, SCART and RCA Connectors)

DESCRIPTION: Amiga RGB Stereo “Royal” Cable which features three internal modifications. The first one (LCDFIX) allows the Amiga to work also with newer LCD TVs. The second one enforces the presence of GND in order to reduce audio hisses and hums. The third one (RGBPLUS) improves the quality of R/G/B signals for an even better picture. Obviously the Cable will work like a charm with CRT TVs too.

QUALITY: Gold-Plated DB23 Connector (Very Very Rare), Gold-Plated SCART Connector and Gold-Metal (Hi-End) RCA Connectors. Everything is soldered using Silver Solder and Connectors are internally glued in order to make the Cable resistant to traction and intense usage.

Which makes it “Royal” is the exclusive usage of Gold-Plated Connectors (which reduces the electrical resistance of signals, expanding both amplitude and conductance of audio and video signals). Gold-Plated Connectors also look more professional, lasting longer thanks to the absence of oxidation.

I hadn't heard anything either but my cable arrived yesterday and is working fine. Feedback left :)

Oge produces some very high quality items, but my advice to him would be to please spend some time providing proactive updates on delivery, any delays etc. via PMs or in the forum posts - most people don't mind waiting, but hearing nothing is always a bit concerning...

P.S I can highly recommend the quality of this cable to anyone considering an upgrade :)

This thread is getting very confusing so I'm going to give it a tidy up.

If you haven't received your cable what I would like you to do is please state clearly within the thread what you ordered and when you paid.

I'll then build up a list of outstanding items. Once your details are added to the list your post will be moderated out.

Please keep the faith, I can tell from experience that Oge's schedules might be somewhat erratic but he will deliver: I've bought from him twice elsewhere and received the goods although it took some time, when I was in contact with him back then I remember him mentioning that demand for custom cables really got him off guard.

I've already received 2 white cables (superior Quality) and I can't complain about the product Quality. Mine arrived also very quickly while by the tone of the thread I was expecting them to be in Australia 6 to 8 weeks after purchase.

I've recently declared interest for 2 more on April 27 but did not contact Oge in PM to arrange payment yet as I'm asking for customized product (shorter cable).

Since it seems like you are producing these cables, I wonder if it would be possible to make with component connectors, like YPbBr or similar ?!

Maybe it's not possible to do that for an Amiga, but I think it should be

Cable arrived after 2 months of waiting. I didn't have a time to test it yet. I will leave the feedback as soon as I'll test it.

after waiting more than one month, my cables (a "Royal" for Amiga and a "Golden" for C64) arrived this morning.
Unfortunately there are several issues, especially on Royal cable.
I always got black screen (no image) with A600 and A1200 on 22" led, 50" plasma, 28" crt.. :(
The image with Golden cable (C64) is stable but it's full of annoying vertical stripes (tested on the above-mentioned TVs)
So I hope we can find a fast solution, thanks

I think that you have two high-end LCD TVs (and the third one is a CRT display) which does not need a strong LCDFIX. In other words, attenuating it will solve your issue. As already mentioned, drop me a PM with detailed photos as soon as you can. :)

update :- Still no sign of the cables or oge, not replied to pm's.

Well I've still not received any cables from Oge and he's not replying to PM's. I'm a little peeved now, is it time to leave negative feed back and give up :deadhorse ?

Try emailing him, that works sometimes.

I've spoken to Oge via email and he'd posted my cables over a month ago so it appears they've disappeared again :( he's going to be working on replacements.

He asked me to pass on the message that he is working to clear up any back orders and he will be back on here when he manages to get all his work cleared, but his loss rate to the Italian post seems to be 3 out of 10 :blink:. He's asked that anyone with questions or wanting info should email him (you can do that through his details on the site I think)

Anyway fingers crossed and all that

It's been now months that I'm waiting for 2 short white Royal cable I ordered to him... I will check when I did my PayPal payment but I never received a message saying they've been sent...

I didn't say anything because last time it also took long time before I received my cables but this is not the best way to conduct business...

Everyday I check the post box. Everyday I am disappointed to see no package :(
