what does it play other than megadrive games please?
Now that's an interesting question. This handheld was supposed to be a device that let you have access to an iTunes equivalent store . Ie you could log on to the store and download any games, spectrum, megadrive, snes basically anything. Now this isn't how it worked. And this is being sold for collectable reasons other than being a useful handheld, it was a big failure. And I managed to end up with 2 of the things. Go figure !!!! I'm not even sure the store still exits. Hope this helps.
It has a Sandbox mode with with a particular download from the net will allow you to play other console roms like GB, 2600 etc.
I would like to point out here as a word of advice, I had one of these not too long ago and the main firmware corrupted when I was downloading the official update!
Also beware that to use this thing it needs to be registered and a file needs to be sent from the GameGadget servers. As this thing has had absolutely NO support from anyone, there may be a chance that the activating server is not online when you come to trying to use it.
I would have to agree with the OP, this is more of a curio than something that can be seen as usable, which is a shame as it had the potential to be massive.
The website is still running and the option to buy egadrive roms at £1.99 each is still there, but nothing other than that it seems.
That soundbox thing sounds interesting. There may still be life in this handheld after all.
More info on what can be done with it in sandbox mode...

That's a great link opens up a new world of gaming for the game gadget.
Thanks for the heads up.
No worries
Hi, am I right in thinking the gamegadget is the same hardware as a Dingoo A320? If so, it should run emulators and things with about the same sort of performance shouldn't it?
I'm actually after a Dingoo at the moment, and have looked at these GameGadgets, but can't seem to find anything definitive that shows them performing similarly to a Dingoo :(
