Amiga 600 base unit only £25 + post

I had this listed previously as a complete pack but I am now selling the base unit on it's own.

Will copy from my previous post with info specific to the main unit

Amiga 600 1MB (non HD model), with 2.0 ROMs - 37.350 - £25 + post (Cheapest UK postage based on est weight packed 2.7kg is Collect+, £6)

Main unit only. LED status connector became disconnected when I was opening it up to check the internals. The lights all work, but the connector needs re-soldering in.

I only have this one Amiga, so I can't test the disks elsewhere, but either the drive is fussy or some of the games are duff. Example : Deluxe Paint didn't work, Workbench disk did. I loaded X-Copy and some disks come back error free, some have errors. I could load Worms, Protracker loaded up and could load / play modules, and some others. But Lemmings (copy), Chaos Engine did not. Drive's a little noisy loading some things but again don't know if that's the disks or the drive.

Visuals and sound tested through RF working fine, I don't have enough RCA connector to test composite & stereo at once but it did work through composite. The L Audio RCA is slightly higher than the right - I've no idea why.

The case itself is yellowed and some of the clips have snapped internally it seems because it doesn't clip down as flush on the floppy drive side as I would expect.

I don't know if you buy much from the UK but if you do could you let me know a good courier? According to my scales, the A600 on it's own weighs over 2.2kg without any packing, and I am getting crazy quotes for it. :blased:

Ummm, it's international over 2kg parcel, so i expect EMS 37-40GBP and trackable(not sure about UK, but in Japan parcels over 2kg always goes with tracking number, but parcel not trackable between customs) surface mail 19-21GBP range.

Declaring interest, put in line as local UK buyer.

Hi,

I've looked around on different sites and maddeningly can't get a quote cheaper than £50 to Japan for a parcel weighing approx 2.7kg (inc packaging). The only solution I can think of would be to dismantle it and put it in 2 packages but even then it would still be £20ish each per parcel. :blink:
