Amiga 4000

Hi everybody!
I'm going to sell my Amiga 4000 (not really luky with this machine...:dry:).
I had a faulty mobo I sent to Anthony Hoffman but too damages and so I bought another one.
This beauty has some problems: no sound and when I connected Cybervision 64 3D no boards checked in early-startup nor executing cybergraphic info program. I don't know if this is a daughterboard problem. Maybe capacitors problems (there is an amiga user, Cosmos, that offered me the whole set of capacitors at a really good price).One of the two floppy is gone and has no psu.
But this A4000 has 16 meg of memory, new barrel battery and no leaking, 68040/40, SuperBuster 11, hard disk, cd unit, AmigaOS 3.1 installed and working, case and keyboard not yellowed, psu adapter.
Since I'm unable soldering something without frying something else and I sadly relized to be unlucky with 4000s :p I decide to sell it. Price for all this is 70 euros + shipping costs.

Hi, just so I understand, will this work without the cybervision? I.e boot into workbench 3.1 and be usable?

Yes. It works without the cybervision using the Amiga screenmodes. And load 3.1 so it is usable.

If you're checking shipping costs, can you please check cost of shipping to Israel, without the case, cdrom & hdd (but with front panel) ?
I know its a hassle, but maybe there's a way to estimate how much the case weights by itself...

That's OK Steve, just tried to bring a bit of order to the thread.

tbh, It's just the sort of project our young Jimbob here likes to get his hands on....
He's probably looking for a spare A600 case at the moment to fit this A4000 into :lol:

Yep its better to go to someone who can fix it and bring it back to glory I'd have just used as it is (cheap 040 machine)
