Almost new CDTV items for swap

I have the following CDTV items for swap

CDTV Keyboard (Never used, still with plastic round the cable) Black with black keys
CDTV Mouse (Never used and in box)
CDTV Black Floppy Drive (Never used still with plastic round cable)

CDTV System including remote, caddy & cd + manuals (v good condition)
* The CDTV system is used but in very good condition.

I can provide pictures if requested.

Things i am willing to swap for:

Blizzard 1230IV or better
External Scandoubler/Flicker fixer
Internal DCE Scandoubler/Flicker fixer
Indivison AGA (A1200)
Zorro or Clockport USB device

These items i have are only for swap. I am not interested in selling them for cash.

I have a Blizzard 1230 IV but it's not for swapping. :D

For 130 Euro i will sell all the CDTV items in my list including the system. :thumbsup:

Hi Andy,

I might be interested, what are the disadvantages between the cobra and the Blizzard? As in i heard some accelerators suffer from pcmcia problems with more than 4mb etc...

That's only true of accelerators that allocate their RAM in 24-bit address space. That address space only allows for up to 8MB anyway.

This card puts all the RAM in the 32-bit address space, so there's no PCMCIA conflicts. Indeed I've used this accelerator with a Squirrel SCSI and CD-RW drive with no problems. :-)

It should compare favourably with the Blizzard 1230 IV, the only significant difference is the Blizzard uses PGA CPU and FPU at 50MHz, the Cobra uses a QFP CPU and PLCC FPU at 40MHz.

But if you dont mind just 2 more questions:

[1] I used to have a Blizzard 1230IV @ 50Mhz. Seeing that this card is an EC030 and 40Mhz, will i be disapointed with its speed compared to the Blizzard?

[2] Will it fit nicely in the trapdoor slot like the Blizzard did?
