I believe there was a problem with a previous post, so if this list appears twice, oops ;)


I am moving to a smaller space and must sell off a lot of Amiga stuff. I am listing all hardware here, and all software in a thread in the software for sale section.

Not all of this has been tested, and I'm not even sure of the hardware specs on some of the items. I will post photos and test if there is interest, but this post is partly to see if anyone is interested.

I also have a few items I'll include free with purchase if anyone is interested in them.

Amiga 4000T 040/25, Not sure of RAM - at least 4MB-But I think 16MB, Picasso 2+ GFX card, CD Rom (4x?), HD(maybe 2 HD, unsure of size) - front bevel as crack, arrived this way when I purchased it new. If anyone remembers the front bevels cracked all the time during shipping. Includes keyboard, manuals, etc. - $400

Amiga 500 (I'm pretty sure Rev 3 motherboard) - $100

Amiga 590 HD - Includes original box, manuals, etc. $50

CSA Derringer 030 @ 50mhz Internal accelerator for A500(!) and A2000 - $50 (NIB!)

I'm from the USA, so I know shipping can get quite costly if anyone is interested from overseas, or any other country for that matter. I'll try to take that into account and am willing to negotiate. Bulk purchases also could be discounted, say for example $500 for everything as is?

Status of Sale from my end - Definitely taking up the offer for the Derringer 030 card + SS/FF. Sorting out postage for items.

Question for Forum Members for Shipping of these 2 small items from USA to Australia.

Does First-Class International by US Postal Server have a okay reputation for successful delivery. Im just a little concerned since this method doesnt have insurance. I do have a colleague in the USA that routinely travels to Australia for work, so if First-Class is a little dodgy (not so good) then I would fall back to domestic insured postage and wait for my colleague to visit Australia.

If you have a friend travelling to Australia,

then I would like to declare interest in the A590 please. What is the size of the hard drive, and does it have any memory/ram with it?

Sorry if I have not updated this post as I should have, I'm still a bit unsure about protocol here :oops:

Right now the only items that have 100% been sold and shipped with payment received are the CSA Derringer and the SD/FF.

It looks like the 4000T will be sold now, but I am confirming postage rates. Once shipped I will update, or if postage turns out to be more than expected and the buyer backs out.

There has been interest in the 1950 and Amiga 500 and associated bits, but not confirmed.

The penmouse w/Dpaint and DC TV could also be lumped in part w/ software and all software I have is going through a possible lump purchase.

I am trying to go in order of posts & PMs, and claims, but it can get a little confusing....

Hi , i'm Withdrawing Interest in the Rom Switcher , as Mr. Umami stated in a PM to me that it was almost sold and the CSA Derringer was 100% sold.

I was the 1st stating interest for the rom switcher and 2nd or 3rd for the Derringer. I believe that's something here is against the rules but oh well ,
maybe who cares or who gives a **** about it?

If you see from the beginning of the thread , from the thread being closed and re-opened again , in the 1st page , with the first posts , there were no one else that stated interest in it ( rom-switcher )

I've PM Umami already and hereby remove my interest in the item so feel free to sell to anyone else.

For me, case closed and i don't even going to bother the mods about it.

Hello all.

I must say that I very much want to be fair and figure out who gets what. That's why the only items that are 100% shipped are the derringer w/ flicker fixer.

There have been thread posts with no PM's, PM's with no thread posts, early PM's with later thread posts, early thread posts with later PM's, etc etc. I'm trying to figure out who should get what, but it can get a little blurry.

One thing that may also may be a bit unclear was that I have free items listed, but they are free with the purchase of a priced item. Nosferatu showed interest in a free item with but with no purchase, so that's another uncertain area :unsure:

Hopefully everything can get sorted out...

I agree with Pedro: since he is the first to express interest, how the item was bought from another member?

Umami, can you please clarify what's going on here?

If the moderators believe that Noseratu should get the ROM switcher according to the rules of this forum, I will do what I can. I would like to learn and follow the rules of the forum so that transactions go smoothly.

Currently the reasons Nosferatu was not #1 for the ROM switcher are due to the following:

1. According to the rules of the forum a person posting a public interest in an item should follow that with a PM. No follow up PM was recieved from Nosferatu, so I assumed he was not interested after all.
2. According to my post, the items listed as "free" were listed as "free" with the purchase of another item. Nosferatu expressed interest in a free item without an item for purchase.

I'll take responsibility for this, for not being as clear as I could have been or checking in with Nosferatu. However, it seems to get a little grey. I'm not sure what rules trump other rules. If Nosferatu didn't appear to follow some rules, does it come down to those who break the fewest rules, those who break none even if interest was later, those who break a few rules but are fastest, etc? I really don't know and would like this made clear. :(

Any word on the shipping cost for the a4000t, yet?

@Umami: Basic rule-of-thumb is "Only what's posted in the public thread is a valid offer" any PMs sent without a post in the thread are "Silent Bidding" and should be reported to the admins.

Posts in the thread but without PM are valid offers, but it's down to you how long you wait for their PM before moving on to the next buyer. We recommend somewhere between 24 and 72 hours on that.

I went to the post office today with these items to try and get more accurate quotes.

It is different from country to country, state to state, but hopefully this will give some idea and help out.

The Amiga 4000T is actually too big to ship to some countries internationally! I have to specifically know which country to find out if it can go via post. It should still be able to go via alternate routes, but I would have to investigate. And the price where it was ok was $200+ Domestic seems to be in the $100-60 range.

The 1950 monitor seems to be in the $80-40 range for domestic shipping

for the Amiga 500 and peripherals $83 internationally, $60-25 domestic

A590 alone $40-20 domestic

@desantii: it looks like astral still is deciding on if it is worth shipping, as it looks like shipping it to Australia is very pricey. next in line is EgillSkallagrimsson, as darkage already backed out due to pricey shipping. will keep you posted!

Quick Question - Did the quote for Astral and the T4000 go beyond $250USD?

@darkage, great, glad everything made it! After really looking into it turns out shipping to Australia was very expensive! First, (and I didn't see this on the USPS site and only found out after actually going into the post office) USPS only ships up to a certain size for certain countries, and the A4000T was too big to be shipped via USPS. Looking into UPS the shipping seemed to be around the $500 range! :wooha:

The 1950 arrived today, and the main board is broken. :wooha:


I don't mean that it arrived as doa, I mean they broke the main board in half basically.:Doh:

Next time you ship a monitor, please use non crushable packing.
The air packs you put in the box were all deflated.
And never stamp fragile all over it, they love to mistreat those. :blink:

@Dabone: If you have a soldering iron and some enamel wire you can fix this board. Shame EUA post treat package this way.

You can also claim a refund or claim a fix for the board.

The problem is having proof it wasn't like that when it was packed at the time of handing over to the handler. :blink:

If it isn't a multi layered PCB, rkauer is right. - It might be repairable.

Monitor boards never are dual-layer.

And surely the A1950 is not, as I repaired one a couple of days ago (dread bad TTL connection).
