Amiga 500 4/8mb fastmem boards with IDE

If it works With ks1.3 nyt not With ks3.1 it might be A500 motherboard revision issue. Some early models requires jump wires to use With ks3.1

Declaring interest in one 8MB board. I do also want to buy some of your other items you have on your web page.

Should I just send you a PM with the list and then get an okay from you to make a payment ?

Thanks Kipper, packaged arrived safe and sound last week. Yet to test due to eprom 27c800 and Willem issues. That'll teach me to buy a cheapo programmer.

Hi, just a quick question on the mem board installation: Is the expansion slot still usable with the 2 pin header in place, let's say for an Impact Series II expansion?

Physically I had no problems connecting an Action Replay to the expansion connector, so I don't think there should be an issue in that regard. The 2-pin header does not cover the expansion connector pins.

I think I must have broken your board ( static?) as it now doesn't work with either ks version. Grey for 1.3 And yellow for 3.1 . I'll take some pictures tonight however and post them anyway ...

Also tested with another Amiga, same revision 6a and no joy :(

do you have a KS 2.05 to try it with? I had issues with 1.3 + trapdoor RAM. As soon as I changed to 2.05 it played OK with the trapdoor RAM.

I would like to order one of the 8MB boards at the earliest convenience please!

I have also emailed @kipper2k...since this thread is rather long now...

I am interested in A500 8MB FastMem Board with CF IDE and A500 CPU Adapter. I have 500+ with 2,05 37.300 ROM. 2 MB Chip. I am also interested in additional set of risers for use with Indivision.

To follow up with my A1000 issues. I can confirm that both boards work in a Revision A motherboard but boot to yellow screen on Revision 6 motherboards. It was mentioned that some A500s require additional soldering and I am wondering if Rev 6 A1000 motherboards may require the same thing.
