Anyone had some kind of problem with this card? With mine (8mb version) whdload games give guru screen after launched. With a Supraram500rx (8mb) connected everything works well.

good to see you recieved your a508. i ordered one along with the a1000 adapter back on December 18, 2015 and havent recieved yet. i also agree with the email situation, but i will be patient for a little bit longer. i was told if i ordered by wednesday of the week i placed my order, it would ship out that week, but it did not ship, in a few weeks it will be two months since i ordered and paid.

It's like I have written this because I in exactly the same situation. Also payed on December 18th,2015 and still nothing yet. Although in the meantime I have received 2 emails from kipper telling me he is gonna ship the A500. But nothing is coming trough😔

Hey guys. Just a question which I am sure has been asked but cannot find the answer. I now have a 2000 and a kipper board installed.
Would it be possible to add an IDE CD-rom drive to the system using this board?
No, there is nowhere to attach another Ide device.
To all ppl who ordered stuff from Kipper2k : ye it sucks to wait 2-3 months for an order, but the reality of the situation is that he is one guy with no assembly line.
Can you imagine yourself in a situation where you need to build, test and ship 100 boards (e.g. vampire v2) to ppl all over the world.. in your spare time...
The situation in Amigaland is different than your average shopping experience. If you need something quickly, check Amibay, eBay or AmigaKit etc..
For hand-built stuff from hobbyists, patience is required.

In theory it should be possible if you very are handy with a soldering iron and adds a 40p IDE header. But otherwise, as Arnie writes, you can't.Quote:
