Hi mate, you've spelt my alias incorrectly as DGOS in your list :-)

Declaring interest as requested in email.
Would like one of each adapter for various Amiga models as well.
Got my a504_CF-IDE, patched 1.3ks rom and CPU adapter yesterday and everything works well.
I Just need to figure out how to get my CF card to show up in WB - shows up in HD Toolbox and I can set it up but it never appears in WB so I can format it?
Anyone know if I need to use a newer version of HDToolBox or some other trick?
Try this one from Demolition:

I'm interested in the 8MB Amiga 500 version.
Dear Kipper2k,
I would like to buy a 8Megs Ram card with CF controller!
How shall we complicate the business?
You would be able to write it that how much the total price (card+post costs)?
Thank you for your answer!
Best regards,
Corigon
Hi kipper, I've left feedback for my purchase :)
Payment sent for 1 x cdtv 8mb ide card + adapter.
Good News
Received mine today, memory works OK.
Bad News
I can't get the CF Ide working. With no card inserted the led is lit all the time. With a card inserted no led activity at all. Doesn't show on workbench or in HDToolbox.
Am I supposed to connect the 2 wires to the MB?
EDIT: Well it just goes from bad to worse, now the led stays lit all the time card in/card out and the CDTV wont boot with the board connected. Time to E-mail Kipper I think.
Hi Kipper2K
I would like one of these 8MB fastmem board with IDE for my CDTV with the appropriate adapter (if required)
To use the Ide on the CDTV I need to connect to int2 and ovr. According to the ide68k site int2 in on the CIA chip. Anyone know where the ovr connection can be found?
EDIT: Is OVR pin 29 of the Gary chip?
Is INT2 pin 21 of CIA (U9)?
Yes, like this:

Diagnostic Slot:
This slot is the equivalent of the side expansion slot of the A500, and includes most signals necessary for serious expansion. This slot is located inside the CDTV, on the right side of the motherboard, and uses a unique 80 pin connector available from KEL.
The connectors that mate with the CDTV motherboard connector are are 8801-080-170S (preferred), 8800-080-170S, or 8802-080-170S. Last time I checked, small quantities (~100) are available in the U.S. from Lo Dan West, (415)592-4600 or 1-800-541-1001.
Connector:
1=GND 2=GND 3=VCC 4=VCC 5=/CFGOUT(#)6=/CFGIN(#)
7=GND 8=/CCKQ 9=CDAC 10=/CCK
11=/OVR
12=XRDY
13=/INT2
14=nc 15=A5 16=/INT6 17=A6 18=A4
19=GND 20=A3 21=A2 22=A7 23=A1 24=A8
25=/FC0 26=A9 27=/FC1 28=A10 29=/FC2 30=A11
31=GND 32=A12 33=A13 34=/IPL0 35=A14 36=/IPL1
37=A15 38=/IPL2 39=A16 40=/BERR 41=A17 42=/VPA
43=GND 44=E 45=/VMA 46=A18 47=/RST 48=A19
49=/HLT 50=A20 51=A22 52=A21 53=A23 54=/BR
55=GND 56=/BGACK 57=D15 58=/BG 59=D14 60=/DTACK
61=D13 62=R/W 63=D12 64=/LDS 65=D11 66=/UDS
67=GND 68=/AS 69=D0 70=D10 71=D1 72=D9
73=D2 74=D8 75=D3 76=D7 77=D4 78=D6
79=GND 80=D5
Pins 7 to 80 on the Diagnostic Port are the same as pins 13 to 86 on the 86 pin connector of an A500.
Thanks for that Kipper, makes connecting a little easier.
EDIT: Guess what fits the diagnostic slot a treat......80 pin SCSI connectors.
This is what I'm working on. The pins aren't in the right position yet as I have still to work out which are right connections.
I simply cut the connector from a 80 to 68 pin adapter and then filed down the pins.
EDIT: I think the connections are pins 6&7, anyone care to check?
take a picture of the slot on the motherboard for me, as close and high res as you can. Most connectors are numbered sequentially opposite... ie
1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13
2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14
Here is more info
http://kipper2k.com/amigaforsale/CDTV/cdtvovr.jpg
and...
http://kipper2k.com/amigaforsale/CDT...int2andovr.jpg
So, looking at the port on the motherboard, the white triangle indicates pin 1. Therefore the 6th and 7th pin on the same side of the connector (side closest to CPU) are ovr and int2
CDTV expasion port, cropped from BBOAH pic
Attachment 58503
Battery's dead on the camera, will post a pic when it's charged.
Anyway Supadupa's pic will do for now, although not shown, is that the last pin on the right, closest to the CPU, is #79.
So the pins I labelled as 6&7 (being the 6th and 7th pin from the left) is in fact pins 11 & 13.
EDIT: Which wire goes to int2, red or white?
Best I can do with this crappy camera.
No, not yet. See post #313.
I have returned the board to Kipper for testing.
The memory works using the command....
addmem start 200000 to 9fffff
You can get addmem from aminet
If you never hooked up the cable to the motherboard then the IDE function would obviously not work, i don't understand why you would send it back to me for testing when you never had the wire connected to the ovr and int2 points on the motherboard. ?, I know the IDE will work on my a500?
i have receveid the right connector 2 years ago from Sveta for release a pcb but i have more problem with eagle and don't can create this adapter four aca500 on cdtv
i suppose the aca500 don't work on cdtv because the aca500 load an internal kickrom and don'read extended rom, need a special update
tomorrow new test on my cdtv with kipper2k expansion
Kipper,
I'm sending it back to you to test because my CDTV refuses to boot with the board connected. No CDROM boot, no Floppy boot, just a black screen.
Initially it booted, the Ram worked fine. After half a dozen attempts at booting the CFIde with different CF cards, the red led stayed on and the CDTV wouldn't boot. Remove the board and the CDTV boots fine.
All the Cards work fine with my CDTV/SCSI/IDE setup, so I can rule out faulty cards, (and yes, I switched off the power before swapping cards)
Arnie
I have the IDE68K from MKL which I believe what kippers ram card is based on. I have some pictures on the site somewhere where I have had two wires connected to gary and something else (cant remember now).
Ive ordered a CDTV version from Kipper so hopefully I can just connect it in the same way and it should work.
Have anyone tested any of these boards with an Action Replay? Yesterday I tried an AR MKIII in my 500+ with one of Kipper2k's old 4MB expansions (I have not received this one yet), but it could not even get to the KS screen. Disconnected the 4MB expansion and it boots fine. Maybe the AR does not like the extra fast mem?
According to the schematics it should be
Gary pin #29 ovr
Cia pin #21 int2 (CIA A) (CIA B = int6)
I prefer using the Diagnostic slot, it looks an easier and neater solution, plus no soldering or removing chips to make connections. Yours is already connected so you're good to go :thumbsup:
You can get the 68 to 80 pin adapters for around £3, even less from China.
EDIT: Anyone know which is the ODD/EVEN CIA on a CDTV? ODD U9 = int2 & EVEN U10 = int6
Item received today, and seems to be working fine. Just installed it in my 500+. All 2+8MB RAM is present and it boots from the CF card. It is currently running mem tests, but after 20 minutes there's still no issues, so it is probably good. :)
I do get a PFS3 popup requester with some error when it mounts the CF partitions, but they do show up in WB and seem to work so I probably just need to repartition the card since the image I wrote onto it was from some other CF card.
Will leave feedback.
Edit: Feedback done. 1½ hours in, the memtest is still going strong, so still looking good. :)
Edit2: Just tested the AR MKIII in the 500+ with this board installed.. Not a good idea. Various colors appeared on screen and the floppy drive made a horrible noise. After this, the floppy drive wasn't working anymore. Turns out the head had gone off the spindle and couldn't be pulled back by itself. Pushing it physically back onto the tracks fixed the drive and it's working fine again. Lesson: AR does not like this board, or maybe even any uncommon memory expansion.. Consider yourself warned. :)
Thanks Kipper :thumbsup: I have received the IDE 8MB board and have it installed. Working great! Feedback has been left, and thanks again for your quality work!
Edit: @Demolition - I will keep your info in mind as I have an AR III as well. I used to think it was a KS 2.0+ issue, but obviously not after all.
Received mine a couple of days ago. Working perfectly!! Thanks so much Kipper! Fantastic product.
I read somewhere Action Replay's done't support more than 4Mb Fast Ram. Not sure if it's true - still Googling... I hope it works ok with 4Mb Fast as I'd like a kipper2k card and still use my AR III.
Interested in a 8mb version and adaptor for my amiga 500+ Also could you but a lead off it for a led so I can see cf access but can you answer 3 questions first will my 1. amiga a590 still work 2. Will my action replay mk3 work 3. My rom switcher with 2.04 and 3.1 work
Thanks
Hi All,
I have 15 ready for mailing, i'll send out emails later today. check post 1 for the list to see where its up to

about Action Replay 3...
The AR3 requires to load into memory at location $400000, so the way to get around this would be to use the non autoconfig code and use addmem to avoid memory location $400000 - $4fffff... However... I also think there is a conflict with either int2 or the OVR soignal... there may be a way around this be using a different int... its too high above my head,
If the AR is using $400000 for itself, then I don't think the non-autoconfig version would change anything since it will still put memory at that address which would conflict. I'm guessing the AR doesn't care much about using system routines, e.g. for memory handling? In that case, it doesn't care about autoconfig.
Anyway, I'll just use the AR on my plain 500 with ½MB+½MB, to be upgraded with HxC. That should work fine. :)
with the addmem command you can addmem in portions, for example...
addmem start 200000 to 3fffff
addmem start 500000 to 9fffff
those commands would give you 7mb of fastmem and leave the 400000 - 4fffff range for the AR3
There will be something new soon i think... you will be able to use a Raspberry Pi as an internal floppy (quite possibly with IPF support), or so i hear :)
The addmem command only tells the operating system where memory exists, it doesn't change whether there actually is memory at a specific location. And if AR ignores the system, then the memory might have to be physically disabled for it to work. But it could also be the AR conflicting with the autoconfig procedure in the KS which causes the problem, and in that case, autoconfig disabled might be enough.
I have not yet bought a HxC for the same reason, I'm looking at what alternatives is out there, and I'm not in a hurry. :)
@ kipper
Please check your PM or email :-)
Package received yesterday!:thumbsup:
Hope to be able to play with the cards soon....
Declaring interest in 8mb version. Sending PM
Withdrawing my interest because of the installation process in an A2000 seen on Kipper2K website... (CPU fastslot is already used by the accelerator board)
One last question before I proceed with payment since I'm in the next batch of buyers. Will this expansion work with my Alfadata RA5-2M ram and how much would be the maximum Chip/Fast ram I could achieve with my rev6a A500? Could you possibly make a guess Brian?
