There should be much cheaper shipping than that (if Amigakit can ship to the US so cheaply). So I'm still looking *and* I'm certainly willing to purchase from overseas if the shipping cost is not too great and the controller price is not jacked-up too high. :-)Quote:

Why not take a look at the following threads http://www.amibay.com/showthread.php?t=40941 http://www.amibay.com/showthread.php?t=48218 and then think about your indirect remark (jacked-up price) not only are you insulting me but other Amibayers who have sold there's at a similar price, Also if you wanted cheaper shipping say Air Mail which only covers you on an item up to the value of £20 with no tracking then why did you not ask ?
I suggest next time before you make any insulting remark you take all data in to account which you clearly have not done, I also suggest you read the General Rules of AmiBay and then dry your eyes because you will eventually find your Controller
You misread my comment, but I do see how you could have believed that my "jacked up price" comment was referring directly to you, which it was not. I was, however, referring to your higher-than-expected *shipping* price, given that I've purchased from Amigakit in the past, with much lower shipping cost. (Perhaps it's a different class of shipping altogether -- OK, fine.) I did not want to eliminate the possibility of an overseas offer, given your comment about "finding one closer to home." No intention to insult you was intended. Sorry.
