i have spare FastATA 4000 controller with BootRom 5.0, which i don't need. Tested in A4000 as well as in A3000. Working well, good condition.
Asking 130 -> 110 Euro + shipping.

Just one question before I start though, can I just install it and attach the HD and will it autoboot without the software? Or do I have to boot from the internal IDE until the software is installed, then move it across to the FastATA?

AFAIR, first port of FastATA is visible as a standard Amiga IDE, unless you start the fastata.driver.
