Then, I've forgotten the name of one... it's a snake variant.

There's the rectangle playfield (screen)

Then, depending on the difficulty there are moving dots within the playfield

You, the player can move safely aound the edges of the playfield. The goal of the game is to box in the moving dots (enemies) by drawing lines in the playfield.

You can draw either vertical and horizontal lines, and when they connect to the edges, the part of the playfield which is not occupied by the enemy is filled. And the playfield is smaller.

What is it called?

Can't belive that I forgot pac man and asteroids.

Now, I know pac man is a bit newer, and that we're geting out of the prehistoric era... but it's one of the border games..

Btw, the defender game I was thinking of is called missile command :)

And it's seems it's Qix.
