A4KD Keyboard

Having another clearout following my Spring clean session. BAck into the wild is an A4KD Keyboard. It is has a USA layout & is not the cleanest of examples, but fully functional when last used before storing away.

Rear of the Board showing sticky mess left by a KB stick on cover. With a bit of careful solvent cleaning (Nail Polish remover) it should clean up well. I'm fresh out of Nail Polish remover atm, otherwise it would be a pleasure before despatch. :lol:

Will this work with the PC-Key 1200 adapter in my A1200 Tower I am building? If so I'm interested :)

It will indeed Steve,

You will need a std 5-pin to PS2 adapter as the A4KD's keyboard has a PS2 style connector.

You can also use the same adapter to connect any PC PS2 Keyboard to the PC1200 as well.

I'm getting the PS/2 adapter along with some other bits I forgot with my first order from Amigakit... I'd rather use a proper 'Amiga' Keyboard instead of a PC one, more authentic I feel.

I have now dismantled the A4KD KB for a full clean. I was hoping to post pics by now, but have had other events get in the way which mean I wont be able to update the pics until tommorow. OMG @ the difference! :o

Shipping to OZ will not be a cheap event m8. These keyboards weigh 1.566Kg before putting a box around it. Anything over 2Kg out of the UK get's hammered. You sure you want me to get you a quote?

Anyways, the board has cleaned up rather nicely but the space bar is rather mellow. :dry:

Hmmm, now this is a dilemma...
