Tres bein mon ami!
Tres bein mon ami! => Très bien mon ami! :p
No wonder I only got a C in French lol
Hey
Sorry to be a noob, BUT, will these fit a Blizzard 1230 with the trapdoor closed? I have 64meg atm with trapdoor closed but am unsure if any 128 Simms would fit with door closed.
Thanks
No, as these SIMM's overhang by approx 3mm the end user is unable to close the trapdoor.
Your two options are to go and find a SCSI board and fit the 128mb to that or run the 1230 with no trapdoor in place

AFAIK, these are the smallest 128mb SIMM's still in production today so it is extremely unlikely you will find any 128mb SIMM that will lie flush in the socket in the same way the 64mb SIMM's do
Thanks for the info blankstare, I did wonder if any were made that would.
I notice one page back you said these were all sold but that was 8th may, but I see some posts where you direct here after you said they were sold? Do you still have any?
If you do would you mind saving one till pay day which is the end of the month. Or I have a 1200 1d4 mobo to trade, 2x a600 cases and one a3000 daughter board :D
Cheers, and I totally understand if you don't want to wait till pay day or trade.
EDIT:
Actually I don't think this will fit my 1230. I don't have any room for double height sim without it hitting something on the card itself. Just my single height 64meg fits tight.
These aren't double height SIMM's, they are about 4mm taller than your present 64mb SMMM but they do overhang the 68030 CPU hence the need to tie them down with a cable tie or elastic band
I can get hold of them at any time - just let me know when and how many.
