work on Amiga hardware: for money, trade or love

Since I'm now single again and impended to have a normal work due my operation for the next 45 days :(, I'm making this thread to offering my Amiga hardware services.:)

Remember that I can't lift anything with more than 4kg (that's a bit less than 9 pounds):( and Paypal takes an indecent fee to cash Paypal balance.:thumbsdown:

So what I can do?

I can make simple hardware devices intended to expand Amigas, modify floppy drives to suit Amiga needs, create cables and extensions and even replace/fix Amiga boards.:ninja:

So throw me your needs (Amiga-wise) and I'll respond ASAP.

I can take simple Amiga-compatible hardware as part of the payment, too.:D

Not sure if I post this on the right sub-forum, as it is a service, but my fellow moderator friends can move this thread as they wish.:ninja:

I still need the LEFT amiga 500 port to a proper connector, flexible, so I can hotglue the expansions over the A500 motherboard (in a tower) (sandwich in other terms):D

Oh and I am glad I can have this kind of service.. I created one myself for 20 % but the hotglued isa ports fell apart.;:blink: Realising I don't have much fun left, working full day, having one kid, doing real estate stuff after hours, online onhere, photography on wednesay..:whistle:

Sure, let me know the length of cable expansion you want and we will be sorted.

Remember the cable can't have more than 8cm or reflections/signal degrading can occur and stop the expansions to work properly.

I have all parts here, so how you want to pay me? Posting goods to Europe with less than 0.5kg costs around R$60 (Brazilian Reais! not Euros), the parts a bit over R$30. I have a totally ruined A500+ board here which I can take the lateral expansion connector and some 86-pin "Zorro" connectors (I made those for a Zorro-2 adaptor that I never made). 50 vias SCSI cable to join the pair and ready to go.

You have some other offer, like something I want?

The "connector" just needs to allow to the devices over the motherboard, so 5 cm's is more then enough.

I can offer you the joystick you liked a few days ago,have more then enough of them, and I noticed you also wan't the ide cable to hook up more then one device to the A600 ide, they all mean = nothing to me, so can let them go. I don't wan't a small box to have a cdrom..

Also have a bunch of other retro C stuff, only trading in stuff I have trippled.

Feel free to ask, since I need to let go some stuff. (don't ask my A4000, or A1000:mad:) I quite like to keep my genuine C stuff that is not trippled..

I can't offer nice expansions exept some memory A500 units for this, since I don't have them in spare.. Have somewhere an A500 pc emulator, but need to find it.. (that one means exactly NOTHING:thumbsup:)

It's a stranged colored device, I should need to find it, don't know where it is,

I am little partial colorblind, but the device looks more like dark pink.. (meaning I miss some color combinations, I don't see the world in Black and White like real colorblinds) I only noticed problems real problems with the color of a computer led, I don't know if it's yellow or green to be honest, people inform me that it is not the proper color, but hey don't mind about it at all:oops:

I looked at the unit a couple of months ago, it's not a 286 I think but 8088. I noticed on evilbay they go cheap.. But hey where is it..? Can't promise.

The other requested parts, don't mean anything, and I have them in my house already..

I had several periods while using (after my c64, A500) pc's stocking up C= stuff, realising I needed to get hem, since nobody would create new ones..

Well, luckily it's not 100% right after all, and there are some alternatives...:thumbsup:

I have one fitted to my main A500 with GVP HD+8 and it's currently running DOS 6.22 & Windows V3.0 (in Real mode only)

Win 3.0 VGA emulation is sooooooooooooo slllllloooooooowwwwww, but it's a good laugh. The CGA emulation is pretty good however for the old 8086 games.

Yup it is that type, Can't make a deal on that card, mine looks a little more pink, but since it is in my old stock, and I don't tend to find it, when feeling stressed to find it.:(

I can only promise, I'll send it to somebody who needs it, or sell it pricely.. I don't wan't old dos games on an amiga, dosbox is multi platform and runs on linux to.:) I am not happy with winuae, I like the real stuff:thumbsup: Not quite sure how to explain that one, had a 386 sx with dos 4.0, but don't feel like :unsure: having it back.. Dosbox creates a better emulated environemnt, without the hassle installing all drivers...

Well having an old 8088 means nothing else then running windows in that mode I am afraid.. I did not suffer from that problem with an 386, but don't like windows 3.1 at all, it's rather buggy..

It is a nice platform on pda's that run dosbox, meaning full apps on a pda :thumbsup:
