My Amiga 4000D

Hi folks, I've decided to sell my Amiga 4000D. I want to raise funds for a Minimig with an ARM controller.

Essentially my machine is as per my signature but here we go:

• Amiga 4000D
• 68040 Processor
• 2MB Chip RAM
• 24MB Fast RAM
• Phase 5 CyberVision 64/3D Video Card with scan doubler
• CF->IDE adapter on the IDE cable with 2Gb CF card pre installed with operating system (3.5 I think) (presented to the back plane for ease of access)
• Amiga Keyboard
• Amiga Mouse (Plus spare Logic3 Mouse)
• There is a Zorro SCSI card in the machine which is a GVP A2000 HC+8 Series 2 Rev 1
  
• CD Rom Drive
• Floppy Drive
• The Buster is Rev11
• The ROM set is 3.1
• Battery replaced with coin battery

Anyone visiting the Amiga.org forum knows that this machine has been having problems with the left mouse button (not the mouse but the button stops working after a period of time - believed to be a soldering issue or possible cap problem)

Cosmetic condition is as per the photo's - but for reference - it's a bit grubby and the front facia is missing from the floppy drive.

I only want to sell this to someone in the UK and would prefer local pick-up / delivery given the size of this thing and likely fragility due to age.

Reduced price to £300 inc UK postage to try and tempt someone from this forum before I fire it onto eBay on Thursday.

Folks - I'm going to reduce the price of this to £325 + postage to the UK (Making it around £350 in total I think). Given the condition of the case and the mouse controller issue it's probably a fairer price. Open to offers of course. Anyone want to do me a straight swap for a Minimig with ARM for instance :whistle:

If you get no buyers and think about spilting it because of the problems let me know, as I would be intrested in the Phase 5 CyberVision 64/3D Video Card with scan doubler & the front bezel cover for my 4000D

Maybe an awkward question, but would you (or a propective buyer) be willing to swap nameplates? I am looking for an A4000/EC030 plate, I can swap for a 4000/030 or 4000/040... All expenses covered, obviously!

I thought the nameplates only came in 030 /040 labels as Commodore were too shy to show they were using cheaper EC 030's...

If not I have learnt something new today :lol:

My A4000D has the name plate of 4000/EC030 on the front, so did the one I had years ago.

Afaik, all C= A4KD 030's had EC on the label. I'm suprised to hear some 030 labels did not. :huh:

Mine says A4000/030 :D (even though there's an 040 inside :shhh:)

I'm just surprised that these exist at all, actually advertising that a cost reduced CPU has been installed, not very commodore is it. :nuts:
