As I have a project coming up in the next 10 days I need funds for, I am dropping the price on the remaining bits I have. If not sold, the prices will revert to what they currently are. New prices as follows:
3) 2 x unused Full 68060 Motorola CPUs @50Mhz - 1 sold to emm853, only 1 left!
I bought these off Philct a while ago intending to use them to upgrade a couple of 040 accelerators, but these went in the same drawer everything else went in and have just sat there ever since.
Whilst these are marked up as XC68EC060RC50 units, they do in fact have both an FPU and MMU. Below is a 'whichamiga' screen for the CPU - the first time it was ever used! I have two of these and they are priced individually. The price includes a new 50Mhz crystal oscillator too.
WERE £55 each, then £52.50, then £51, the £49.99 now £45 each, including standard 2nd class post in the UK. Overseas, please ask.
4) 2 x Faulty Blizzard 1230 MkIII Accelerator cards.
Sadly neither of these work. hese spent a long time trying to fix them, and whilst there was some degree of success with one card, the other is probably usable for parts.
The first card (with the CPU) have been checked out by hese, with each component being indiviudally tested. This what was found:
- The 68030 processor works.
- The original 50MHz oscillator soldered to the Blizzard card.
- The GAL chips and Boot ROM of both cards work. I've tested them on the faulty card and got it to boot to the boot screen. These are the only chips that you can't buy from a store if they break. Because these chips work, repairing the card is possible.
- All the basic chips except the RTC chip have been tested and they are working. Faulty 74F543 chips that have been replaced with new.
- The edge connector of the card is the likely cause of the problem, and needs to be replaced.
Card#2
This has a nasty burn under the CPU socket. Looks as though hot air was used here and it may have damaged the traces on the card. However all the chips on the card appear to be fine. This would be useful as a donor card, and it has an edge connector that could go on card 1!
I've just lost interest in these two having been fiddling for 18 months, and just want to get back some of what these have cost me. I want to sell these together, so please don't ask me to split them!
WERE £105, then £99, then £95 now £90 including standard UK delivery (no insurance). Overseas please ask.
If interested get in touch ASAP. Pictures are on the first page

I would have bought the 060, I just missed it  Out of interest, would that revision of 060 work with a Blizzard PPC?
