Hello,
I offer for sale "The Real HD-Fix" by T. Hirsch. I had replaced my HD Floppy (Teac FD-235) for 2 years because I bought a Deneb. So the adapter was since 2 years well know storaged in antistatic bag. Floppy plastic front is missing but working (look at pictures).
I ask 35 Euro plus shipping + paypal fee (2% Europe or 4% worldwide).

May be interested, depending on what it does: does it allow you to use PC-floppy drives as Amiga HD drives, or do they simply operate as 880k ones? Thanks!
It looks to me, just like a Board to "Patch" PC HD drives to be used on Amiga's as 880K drives. Just saves you from having to take a Soldering Iron to the drive itself. You will not get an Amiga HD drive from a PC HD drive without *SEVERE* modification.Quote:

wow, then if the rkauer is correct then it is the holy grail of floppy disk adaptors! I want it badly, sending PM!
Perhaps someone could reverse-engineer it? If all goes well and I do get it, I would be willing to loan it out for study to anyone with the skills...

If thats a PAL, then if its possible to desolder the chip, and run it through a PAL programmer and read off the contents. Should be able to reproduce it.
Hardly someone will make a clone: it uses a small GAL chip which is read-protected.
Simplifying: the device works, but when some solder-skilled guy takes it out of the circuit where it belongs and try to read with a GAL programmer it will not get anything at all.

It reads protected pals/gals and outputs the fusemap data for Wincupl. It doesn't currently work if the pal chip is using registered outputs though.

If it is not protected, then you should be able to pull the code from the PIC's rom.
