Uncovered another box of Amiga 500 goodies. Back into the wild with them
1) Amiga 500 boxed

First up, this good looking, boxed Amiga 500. It has the C= badge, and comes with red leds.
Minor yellowing. The PSU included is the lighter model and works fine. The box is in bad shape, but has the inner polys.

2) Faulty Amiga 500

The next thing i uncovered was another A500, which turned out to be quite the monstrocity.
I bought it a year or two ago, and never gotten around to actually unboxing it, until today...
It lacked the screws, so i could open it up immediately, what i found was quite weird. Some wires soldered to the motherboard, connected to a switch that was not exposed on the outside of the case, i found it crammed under the FDD. Judging by the use of common scotch tape, i'd say whoever did it should never touch an Amiga again.
The whole thing looks horrible, really. No screws, rf shielding bent out of shape, loose wire ends, you name it, this monster has it.
Another switch on the back side connected to a (to me) unknown A500 expansion.
Afraid it would combust i fired it up, and it actually seemed to power on. Got no output via RF modulator and the FDD didn't seem to respond to anything. Tried without the expansion card: blinking power led, still no RF output. During this process of opening it up and testing it out i felt more and more repulsed by this atrocity each minute, and at this point, i decided: screw it.
So, i'm selling it as faulty. I'm sure someone sees a nice project in it. I, for one, don't :)
