- Rev. 3.0 upgrades to 3.2 via socket (changeable)

For anyone interested in this purchase, the A3640 is a Rev 3.2 card. I've never seen one with a Socketed U209 Chip before. I dont think this is a UK Wang upgrade, as the handwriting is definitely of German origin. ;)
I know Wang in the UK did these upgrades back in the early nineties, but all the ones I ever saw were surface mounted.
The written Chip code ends -03, meaning the card is definitely a Rev 3.2.

That is true, board rev. is 3.0 but a GAL on U209 was updated to 3.2 This absolutely neccesary if you are using Zorro 3 cards like Deneb, Fastlane Z3 or A4091. The upgrade has been done by a good friend and it works perfect! Best regards FD
