A4000D
Hello. I have another A4000D for sale from Ed. This one the board is in excellent shape, no damage. The battery has been removed and not replaced. The battery was removed by the previous owner when he purchased the machine. This machine has specs as follows
A3640 Revision 3.1 or 3.2
Kickstart 3.1
Workbench 3.1
405MB Hard Drive
2MB Chip
16MB Fast
Super Buster 11 it appears
US Layout Keyboard
Mouse
It should be noted that the keyboard for this is rather grubby and if I don't remember to clean it, it will need to be cleaned. The case for this machine was received by Ed in a terrible state and has been refurbished. As with the other machine the Hard Drive bracket was missing on this case as well and has been replaced with a bracket that functions for single hard drive setups. There are also no coverplates for the expansion slot and the the card slots on the case. I will try and scrounge up the card slot covers, but the expansion slot I don't have a fix for.
It is also important point out that the faceplate has been painted here in the same manner as the other A4000D I posted earlier. Again if a larger hard drive is needed, let me know and I will put in one of my countless IDE drives for you. The A3640 was received with bad caps and have all been replaced and an area of corrosion was fixed and sealed with resin. The A3640 card has been working in this fashion since 1996 when Ed repaired it.
The price on this machine is SOLD USD or nice offer plus shipping. I know this machine doesn't have a CD-ROM drive, but if it is really needed I will see what I can do as I have plenty lying around, I just need to find one that matches somewhat to the coloration of the case, which might be difficult. Hi Nathan.
U209 chip on the 040 card ends with -02, meaning it's a Rev 3.1 card, even if it is silk screened Version 3.0 - Good luck with the sale m8. :thumbsup:

Wow, that sounds like a clue to find someone you are supposed to talk to in one of Sierra's old adventure games! "Look for the guy holding a purple plushie with a pitchfork... No the stuffed animal, not the person."
