Where can I get 6 pin DIN sockets from?

Help!

(especially Zetr0 and GazCBM)

I'm trying to locate a suitable source for the 6-pin 'domino' board mount or inline DIN sockets, the ones that connect to a Commodore 1541 drive cable?

I am knocking together a few projects that I tinker with occasionally as time permits (heh), but these sockets are elusive little :censored:s.

Maplin think I'm from another planet when I ask them, RS 'maybe' do them but the call centre isn't 100% sure and they may not be in stock; surely somebody still stocks these?

I might have asked this before, but I'm not 100% sure.

Not CPC.
I don't have a trade account!
I used to live in Preston .... quite close to where CPC was situated too, and I used to pop over to CPC and buy stuff over the counter.
Can't comment for Farnell though, but I suspect it's the same as CPC, due to CPC being under the Farnell group ;)

You can buy from CPC/Farnell online with a card. No need for a trade account. They can be a bit expensive at times though.

I just moved our stuff into our new home. There was a 1541 circuit board lying around, that I presume to be dead. It should have both connectors in place. You can have it for p&p.
