Update: The HOT has been changed.
I have the same result as before (no need to redo a video, it act the same thing) :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BlFdWgcpwgE
I also took the voltage (at the capacitors, close to the main transformer) while the board was powered :
I have 9V, 16V, 28V, 128V as expected.
if your going to take voltages bud, take them from the test points indicated in the service manual.(although i dont think there will be anything wrong with the power supply)
the 128 volt rail is adjustable..
also check the area near where im pointing with a screwdriver etc.
I checked this area before mounting the HOT.
I have removed the capacitors (measures is ok), and checked diodes, resistors, and if I had no shorts in the little caps...
ok bud,can you check around the tda3653(at position ...7560)
This area has also been checked. Also the neck tube components. Maybe something I can't check is faulty (like a TDA) but at this stage, I think I need to make some room for the oscilloscope (now that I have a clean schematic) to do a better diagnosis. Board powered on, so more dangerous ! I think I am going to start with the 2 check points on the 9 pins TDA around the screwdriver area...
I have noticed a trace of leakage in this area:
Attachment 73049
but when I put back the capacitors I have probably switched, so maybe this cap was not at this place.
Anyway, the resistor 3452 should be 1k 5% and it is 850 ohms (missing 100 ohms)
Update and first sign of life of the TinyLauncher screen from my composite Amiga 500 output:
Attachment 73102
BTW, it need a stable output image to setup the the LOPT correctly. Image from the kickstart 3 seems a good picture...
well done mate,well done.
i mean it.:)
Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge. I'm pretty happy now :)
