Zipp Socket Memory

Hi i am looking for anyone that may still have some of the zipp socket memory (Zig Zag type socket )

Well, what type do you Need? 256kx4, 1Mx4, page mode or static column? Best would be, if you write for which kind of electronic you need it! ;)

Hi BlindGerMan, thanks for the reply - recently found my old Alfa Data 1200 expansion board that i always intended to update from 4mb to 8mg, the chips read:

MB814400A-70PSZ

Any help appreciated, the board has 16 sockets ( at present populated by 8 ) - sorry but i haven't any other info on the board except from amiga resource website ??

Hi thanks for both of your replies, however i more confused - according to amiga resource if 8mb of memory is to be installed all 16 sockets are used , therefore surely these are 512kb chips 16 of in total ??

The board already has 4mb onboard that uses 8 of the sockets ???

Anyway iv'e had no look in finding any memory so probably will have to change the card anyway

Every chip has 512 kB but the organization is 1Mbitx4! ;)

Thats what I suggested before ;)

1 ZIP has 512 kb or 1Mbitx4 = 4 Mbit = 512 kByte
