one or two of my drives I have to sort out. ;)
One external drive with 40/80 track and a on/off switch.
I've test it with HD discs and it don't use this format. You have to use MD2-D disks, but I don't can give away any of them.
The test with MD2-D disks was absolute ok. You can see it on the photo.
Is now available for 45€ + P&P (without disks)
Now the photo is online...
Little scratches on top, but generally ok. :)

... ah, I've forget the backside... there are two switches and a connector for more drives.
I also will test it intensive...

Hm ok, so HD disks aren't usable? Wouldn't that be the reason for the 40/80 tracks switch? I have loads of HD disks, which is one of the reasons for me buying this drive... Gotta think it over again.
I could test other HD-disks... it could be, the Siemens disks are too overdressed... ;)
These drives are for DD floppies only.
Yes, but internal are ordinary 1,2MB drives installed and they should not have problems with hd disks.
