Hi, i have a standard 4000-030 for sale. it's basically been sitting there for years. i'm not sure whether it even still boots (although likely it does). does any one wish to buy it off me? i live in central london and would prefer if the buyer comes to pick it up as it's rather heavy to ship.
i have the original keyboard and system disks (3.1). it also comes with a box full of orignal floppies (things like wordworth etc.). i basically want to get rid of it as it's taking up space, so any reasonable offer will be accepted. it also includes the emplant mac emulator. i was thinking around 100 GBP.
Finally got round to doing this:
- comes with internal and an external floppy drive
- includes an IDE internal controller board
- matsui 2 speed internal cd drive
- emplant board
- original keyboard
- mouse
- 80gb seagate drive
- not sure how much memory; maybe you could have a look at the pics
there appears to be some corrosion around the battery (the red thing), so doubt that works. and will probably need to be replaced. as a result, i didn't want to boot the thing. also i don't have a video modulator (anymore - at least i can't find it), so i couldn't test it out. i guess the last time i booted it was over 5 years ago.
i also had it repaired prior to that (hence the sticker on the back); i vaguely remember that because it was on warranty, they replaced the entire motherboard for me.
i live around tottenham court road / holborn area. as i said, pick up only. looking to sell by the end of this week.
