I already own one, but let me put in a good word for it: it's only a 68000, but it's compatible with just about everything I've tried with it, and as long as you've got some fast RAM it really does give a noticeable boost.
Too bad this is not the A500 version! If so you'll have a buyer (me) right now.
The A500 and A2000 ones are identical, the only difference being the case. You can easily use it on an A500 either bare, or with a home-built case. I have heard there are a few that don't have the female edge connector for the A500 expansion bus fitted on the opposite side, but I've never seen one like this. I sold Commodorejohn his, and I can also vouch for it being a very awesome accelerator!
Quite so. If this doesn't have the pass-through connector, that's a bit of a problem, as it's supposed to be the first thing connected to the A500 Sidecar port to minimize timing issues, but it looks from the Amiga Hardware Resource page like the ones that don't still have a set of header pins where the pass-through connector goes, so maybe you could find or hack up an appropriate connector. Using the bare board is less pretty, but it's still doable.
Sorry, but that is not true. There was two versions, and the difference is not only the case. The specific A2000 version hasn't got the side slot connector you would need for using it on an A500. This one (or any other of the Supras made specifically for A2000) can therefore not be used on an A500 unfortunately.
In fact, they can be used, but hacking the socket on the back of the card is an extensive solder job.
Also they can be the last device in the lateral of the A500, where I already have a Supra RAM RX and an Add_SCSI controller with the proper 2Gb SCSI HD inside, plus a SCSI passtrough hacked on the back to a SCSI CD-ROM.
I think I need to upgrade the desk size to accommodate everything and still use the mouse on the left side (I'm left-handed)...
I never said they can't be used with an A500, I just corrected the understanding that the only difference between the A2000 and A500 version was the lack of a case for the Supra.
If the connector is soldered to the board, if would be useable on an A500 without any other modification.
Expressing interest in the card. Sending a PM

OK, does this mean that the A500 lateral expansion and the A2000 CPU slot are identical (apart from the gender of the connector)?
If so, that could mean a Blizzard 2060 on an A500, which would be sweet!
